I played something similar last league and used Bino's kitchen knife for clearing (instead of explode chest) and it was insane for clearing, you can also use bino's to cheeze simulacrum by killing trash mobs ontop of the boss so the poisons prolif to the boss

I've found that binos is okay until red tier maps and then falls off heavily. We tested it and it just wasnt great.

Great build to watch and understand. I personally remade my off-league Blade Vortex assassin to create an Ethereal Knives one that... yes, needs a lot more gear and is more active, but I enjoyed it more, and as you've said, fun factor is important.

Btw a nice way to include despair into this is getting the cheap unique ring "Profane Proxy". It gives some resistances, but most importantly it gives +3 levels to socketed curse gems and applies the socketed curse to one of your skitterbots. So you can have despair basically as an aura, while keeping the other skitterbot's aura effect.

This was my league starter. I would suggest that 2 Unspeakable Gift large cluster jewels would be better than an explodey chest. I used a Kintsugi and took wind dancer. Less life, but 40% less damage taken most of the time and a lot of evasion.

@@BigDucks it has, just finished the character last night, was running through t16 maps and killing bosses extremely efficiently. Had a bit of an issue sustaining bv so I dropped skitterbots, haven't noticed much of a difference without them

I think when you talk about clearing the entire game on a sub 50c budget, you should show map showcases with that gear, not with explode mod chest and other expensive stuff. I would like to see if the low budget version is fun enough to play in order to grind for the currency needed to afford the high end gear.

Guys chill and specially "leaguestart" comments... It litterally says Harvest league in the title, not heist leaguestart. Certain items are expensive early and this video was made bit late into harvest league. I'm not the creator of the video but it seems pretty off-topic to discuss these kind of things. (And I'm sure when he said he played this for 2 weeks it wasnt meant as 336 hours played, if he plays casually, like me sometimes, then it makes perfect sense to be lvl 92, when I play tanky builds I also tend to do higher content and ignore mods which can be super nasty and yes that kills me sometimes but thats SC life) I do however agree he should have shown most of the content without the explody chest if he was going for the low budget key here. But personally I was just here to look at viable options later into heist. =)

@@Fientelo even at the latest point in the league the explody chest would cost 4 ex. The point is just that if you claim a build works on a budget and scales well into late league, then it would be nice to see how the build is actually doing on said budget version. Because if it is fun then, you would like to progress and farm with it until you can afford the high end stuff, but if the budget version sucks, then I'd rather not play it. Just wanted to see the budget version which was said to be able to clear all content, that's all.

Thanks for such an awesome guide :) Few questions tho. I'm practicing this build as a league starter but whilst pushing acts, from part 2, I feel like elusive isn't doing enough to keep me healthy - I keep going waaaay too low and nearly dying or being one shot by bosses - this is with maxed resistances btw. But in general this is less problematic for me compared to the mana issue I am having. To keep up Herald of Ash, Clarity and Hatred, I had to craft my way to securing some extra mana so that I could keep my BV up. But this mgiht be less viable for me at league start when I am extremely limited in resources. In this situation, do you think I should unequip hatred? Or is there another way to resolve the mana issue?

I'd say best league starter for its budget. Tryed it on Dellirium and its just the king of solo atlas progression. Started ED-C this league, dude you don't know how much I miss it every time I need to cry in chat to find a Drox carry.

Great video, thank you. I cleared the whole game. The only issue is that vs some bosses, without adds, you cant use vaal blade vortex and plague bearer and so lose most of the dps. How good are the 'Increased damage over time' dagger compared to the critical strike multiplier? If anyone knows and actually tested it.

Can confirm, this build is legit. The jewels (non cluster) cost me on average 1-2 ex (for higher/better rolled ones) I also went with a max helm roll (the veiled mod) which was roughly 80c. I went a step further and got two corrupted daggers with (60% DOT) they were 10-15ex each. Overall about a 50-60ex investment but totally worth it. Clears juiced T16, Sirus 8 (takes some mechanical dancing, but do-able). Solid build. Thank you for uploading it and making the POB so detailed.

Good day to you sirs and ladys i hope someone can help me. I have a problem with the skills and the reason is that the helmet, 1 weapon and body armour are the only ones which matches with the video. For example the boots: 2 green and 2 red but only 3 gems mentioned and the gloves he wears are 2 green and 2 red but the gem he recommend is a blue one. I really like this build but this is confusing. Pls help

Could you swap Void Manipulation for Swift Affliction? I lose like 0.1s in poison duration and gain something like 2% more DPS, not sure if it's worth it.

Thanks for this build BD. It's a blast. I did Spellslinger and Redemption spectres and got stuck at 92 on both. They sucked to even level up. This build cruised through the tutorial, it's destroying all content in maps. I couldn't afford the despair gloves, so I picked up impresence with despair. I usually wait till mid to late 80's to run Uber Lab, I did it at 74, easily. Thx again.

I forget if you went over this in the video, so what do you think about swapping Skitterbots for Herald of Purity? Unless I'm missing something it's more BV damage and resulting poison, plus ghost friends but no chills and no shock for Plague Bearer and Agony Crawler. Also you only need level 2 Enlighten. I mean I'll probably buy a level 1 Enlighten and try it myself while leveling it once I swap to mapping gear and have to mess with my socket colors anyways, just curious what you think.

How do you run all auras and aspect of the spider at the same time? The reservations dont seem to work out, Malev=50%, skitter=35%, herald=25%, aspect=25% . . . that's way more than 100% even with the Devouring Diadem 20% less reservation... Not getting it. Do you drop skitterbots for Aspect ?

This is one of the funniest guides i've seen... "50c budget" at the start of the video, explode chest, despair gloves, empower, lvl 4 enlighten. You can play without those also, up to t12 maps or so :)

@@balauceaalex8991 you need your malevolence, skitterbots and herald in the devouring diadem with the enlighten 4. Make sure to not use precision anymore, since there's not even room for lvl 1 anymore. You should land at exactly 0 mana

It's pretty solid. If you have issues dying later on just make sure you have proper health and keystones. Get enough health to where you stop dying. Can get up to 6500 or more depending on what you want.

Did similiar one in Delirium, too squishy for me. Damage was indeed nice for the investment, however I've got oneshoted too often to enjoy playing it. Bino kitchen knife was also awesome addition for clear instead of explo chest.

Try Kintsugi + Wind Dancer and some good shield for no block investment, like Mistwall. I fought the Mino on uber rippy map with lots of extra elemental damage and boss damage, and he couldn't one shot me with his slam. It's very easy to bolster defences on this build.

Delirium itself was half the reason most builds died then. Standard maps are not even close to as rippy.

I got a chest with 721 evasion that gives 118life,9% max life,29 fire res,40cold res,41 light res and i can craft a prefix on it, probably spell dodge or chance to avoid elemental ailments. Looks like I found where to use it.

It is quite easy to get the starting gear. It doesn't need much and as you go, you can grab the good uniques over time and upgrade.

Unfortunately Deshret keystone has been taken out in 3.11 so you don’t have a choice in league to get this via Timeless Jewel anymore ; still legacy in standard unless you divine it

I have a few Dumb questions, I just got to Level 12 and I can't start using Vaal Blade Vortex until I get 60 Souls and Once I get 60 souls I can only stack 3 of them. How do I get around the 60 souls start up ( If at all) and how do I get to 10 stacks if it only stores 60 souls? Again I'm new but loving the game and I want to work on using this build. Any help will be appreciated.

It might be hard to understand Ziz sometimes, but at least he refers to most things correctly, or at least in a way that a new player can easily understand. The helmet ailment duration mod is not an "enchant" it's a veiled mod on an item that you have to kill Catarina to get.

this build with 2x cold iron point, asenath gentle touch, devouring diadem, endrobate, imrpesence and 2x circle of nostalgia make this build for isnanely hard, managed to get over 10mil dps in 3.9 for only around 2-5 ex. Although asenaths in 3.9 were cheap as hell and now they are like an exalt or more

Nice build. The DPS especially against bosses is hilarious. But the occasional one-shots are really annoying. I guess you can't have everything on a budget.

rather than crafting an exploding chest i used a pair of obliterations on swap as a cheap alternative. (i dislike trying to 6 link). anyone know about crafting the insane amulet in POB?

Hey there. I started to this build and im lvl 82 right now. My items are kinda good but not the best. I can clear maps really good but having trouble with bosses. Even with map bosses. Elderslayers are just melting me! Maybe its because my skill tree is not complete and my lvl is low but im getting 1 shot by bosses and elderslayer and its kinda annoying. What can i do about that?

make sure you have done all your labyrinths to get all your ascendancy points. also make sure you use two of the weapon Cold Iron Point (it gives a lot of damage) if you have problems with survival make sure you have the keystones acrobatics, phase acrobatics, and Wind Dancer. other than that, just get more life nodes. also get at least 50 life on as many pieces of gear as possible! :)

The Keystones Acrobatics + Phase Acrobatics which grand a l lot of dodge + Wind Dancer for reduced damage. Also you get Elusive with the Mistwalker ascendency + Withering Step. You got a CWDT with Immortal Call and Fortify on your movement ability. Pretty Sure i missed some stuff. As Ducks said, you will get oneshot sometimes so this isnt a HC Viable Build, but this built is afaik relatively untouched in Heist while stuff like Glancing Blows got a relatively (deserved) nerf. Lets wait for Big Ducks comment on this Build :^)

ive been trying this build a bit in endgame and without flasks im really not sure what "recovery" youre talking about? what am i missing here, and im talking about on boss fights, while clearing yeah it's fine besides the odd getting slapped by stupid plant thingys or the snakes that shoot shit lol

also why not using medium cluster jewel with chaos damage over time multiplier ? gives more damage than the large one, you get extra points to spend, and u only need 1 slot for a crimson jewel

i've made a self poison version of this using carcass jack and it flew of the map like it's nothing. and hella tanky too. but i can't seems to kill sirus (is he buffed or smthg? last time i killed him is in metamorph) overall it's VERY enjoyable to play, suddenly you're lvl 92 without even trying..

Sirus is more like nerfed and not buffed. Your setup with carcass is nice for clear, but for bosses (sirus) you might want a different setup. Carcass+obliteration wands is one of the fastest mapping and leveling you can do btw.

Dude... why is no one showing awakener lvl? i can make a build that is capable to do AW 4-5 but not AW8 due to not enough dmg. Sooo is this awakener 8?

from my experience, bino or obli feels really good. no need for explody whatsoever

You can but it significantly reduces clear speed in high tier maps. Binos and such feel okay til you start hitting red maps then it starts to slow down.

You can do that and you also will have good clearing on maps, just your boss damage suffers

for some reason i have a lvl 3 enlighten, lvl 4 with the diadem lvl boost, and i still cant run all four auras, is there a reason for this?

Also: Why use whirling blades over dash, or flame dash, or leap slam, whirling blades cant hop over some terrain and save some time like the others can.

Regarding the movement skill, he can use fast whirling blades with that setup and with the hit he can trigger fortify. If you don't want to use fortify, you can go with withering step to inflict wither while mapping, flame dash if you want or dash. Other choices aren't good for this in my opinion

i tried it now leveling it as starter build and the leveling is just painfull :D without leveling gear there is just no dmg. Would be better to level as samothing else and then respec to BV. Any ideas for good leveling strategy as assassin ?
