Sometimes with Parkinson's I just can't eat anything I want to anymore.

I have not been diagnosed yet but i noticed different foods affect me also.i have a resting tremor stiffness decrease in smell

O don't know about caffeen . Please explain more?? Does it affect parkinson ?

Caffeine affects me badly, cannot have it anymore. Not everyone has this problem though, many people with Parkinson's continue to handle the caffeine without issues. Personal choice. 😀😁😊

Hi Min. Unfortunately chocolates and sugar in general. The brand does not matter. I have to be careful with my diet or I end up in bed with bad symptoms. Fresh meat and vegetables is the way to go for me. I mostly drink water now.😀😁😊

Hi David, have you given up alcohol completely? I’ve only been on meds for a few months and drinking hasn’t bothered me.

Hi Anthony, yes I have given up alcohol completely a few years ago. I was diagnosed in 2017, so it took a few years for the alcohol to really knock my socks off. Don't miss it at all. Last time I had a single drink I could barely walk.😀😊😁

Hi Desiree, msg, artificial colors and flavors put me on the couch. Not right away, about an hour after eating something like a bag of doritos I'll be horizontal wishing I hadn't.

I thought I was free on several of all these things after today .... not yet . Had my 2 ND endoscopy today . He retrieve a biopsy this time . Yeah I was wondering how much coffee contributes to my shakes .... to much and not enough

@@jerrym1070 I miss my morning coffee, especially “second coffee”. One time my friend brought me some civet coffee from Vietnam. My son and I would drink it Saturday morning while we played video games together. Good times.

@@LifewithParkinsons have you seen this drink mix called Mud . Suppose to be better than coffee . I can't 100% give up all those things . Was so looking forward to a beer . Sounds like a great memory of time with your son . Never heard of that coffee . Strong ? I gotta try new stuff ( bucket list ) . Like I have never had Saki . 🤮 Brandy ... the drink and the girl . 🤣 A ride in a jet my ultimate bucket list . Not a commercial jet . Big dream

@@jerrym1070 Hey Jerry, here is a link to a civet coffee farm. It wasn't strong, it just had a full flavor, lol. Maybe not everyone's choice, but I found it delicious. Your bucket list sounds fun.
