Dam man how did you manage that maneuver in such a short time! I’m waiting on my 2s to come can you tell me what kind of tires are best for higher speed’s stability? I want as little wobble as possible when going fast. Are stock tires bad? Any upgrades you recommend?

The stock tires are fine I guess. I’m just used to fat tires because of my Kaly, those are 8x3. So I guess the Kenda tires, what people run and what the Plutonium comes with, are 200x50. I changed them to the Qind Da 200x75 tires, which I only knew about because a lot of Kaly guys run them. The guys at Bioboards even recommended them to me because of another customer using them, confirming they fit, so I’m definitely not the first to use them on this board. Don’t know if you can go any wider, but it’s nice that the 2s rims are wider, so I’ve heard, from the original Plutonium. I don’t go crazy fast, haven’t gotten bad speed wobbles yet, but the trucks are definitely moving mid to high 30’s MPH because of how great those Riptides are. The stock 93A bushings are surprisingly stable for how maneuverable / carveable the board is. I ordered the 96A bushings for the board as well just in case, but I haven’t used them yet. You’ll love the board my friend. Good luck. Keep in touch. Let us know how the rides go. 😎

Thank you for sharing!! Do you recommend upgrading the 8” to 9” wheels? I really like how much bigger the kaly wheel look.

Haven’t looked into other wheel options yet. I’m satisfied with the Qind Da for now. Let me know how things work out for you. 😎

Just ordered the qind 200x75 tires thanks for the recommendation! I’m still waiting for the board while ordering accessories like you haha I also ordered the 200x75 inner tube, is that what your are using or the stock 200x50? What can you tell me about the differences in riding experience between stock tire and the qind de tires? Also I know you have an kaly xlr that has Electric hydraulic stabilization, do you think the bio 2s need that aswell??? sorry for all the questions bro thanks for replying, I’m just excited to get my board and I love ur contents! Keep it up! Subbed!!

I’m just using 200x50 inner tubes, bought them in bulk online. Even for the Kaly, I use them, I just inflate them more. The thing about the stock 200x50 Kenda tires that the board came with is that the inner tubes were also Kenda, 200x50, but the valves were not a true 90 degrees, so they didn’t point straight out from the rim. That drove me nuts because I also had my own valve caps for the board and it didn’t look right. I removed all the Kenda inner tubes when I changed the tires. I’ll just use them for back ups. The custom Riptide bushings that were made for the Plutonium really are a work of art. They’re fantastic, the board is extremely carveable, maneuverable, and stable at the same time. I don’t think this board needs help with stabilization, even the Kaly doesn’t if you have the skill and board control. The stabilization system provides comfort and reassurance, and so I have to say this, that with it, you can easily end up riding faster than you would if the board didn’t have the stabilization. So it can be deceptive in that sense where you feel that stability at higher speeds but it’s not entirely your skill level but the system helping out, so in a way it’s not good to have it. Fastest I’ve gone on the Kaly is 43 MPH; I just hit 42 MPH the other day with the Plutonium, and I haven’t even tightened the bushings from the stock set up, and of course no stabilization system, so it can be done. I will have the 96 duro later, a step up from the stock 93’s just to try. Regarding the tire change from stock to 200x75… a wider, flatter tire, more contact patch on the ground, can only be a good thing. Helps with traction as well. Try the stock ones for a day or two when you get the board, can’t hurt to have that experience and get a feel yourself for the performance between tires.

60 MPH is average for the boards I have. Mid 40’s is about right for the roads we have here.

Definitely not one of my proudest moments. Habitually I stay to the far right at that spot, which is where the bike lane is but the ride was going straight so I had to get into traffic. I’m always looking behind me in case a fast car comes flying up on me. That’s good and bad. I just need to be more alert, can’t be too alert. Love you bro thank you for your support. 💯😎🖤

The Kaly XLR has 3000 miles on it in nine months, almost all of those miles were solo rides. Group rides are a completely different animal for me. I ride in the bike lanes, going into the road where the cars are only when there is no bike lane. So during a group ride, I will automatically be riding in a way I wouldn’t be if I was by myself. So when I’m with others, I just need to commit to being in one lane with the cars, stick to it and avoid moving around. I should have already been in the outer lanes with the cars, but again as I said, gravitating back to my comfort zone, I was at the far right where the bike lane is. So there’s this battle going on inside me, also due to the fact that I don’t like to block any cars or be in the way, but I have to if I’m in the lanes with the cars during a group ride. So there’s that battle, that contradiction, and it does affect my riding. These different styles and occasions of riding I’m hoping will help me to become a better rider, that’s why I try to attend the weekly group rides. Same goes with the occasional trail ride, I’m 90% street riding, but that little bit of experience doing something different will help me grow. Congratulations on ordering your BB. 😎💚
