thinking about it poison is really deadly only in DS2. I feel like in all the game it either takes too long to build up, too long to deal damage or both.

@@Lucas-gg8ik Holding the transformed l2 attack is quite viable for it. The shreads from the transformed l2 will build up poison with each tick of damage. And the transformed charged r2 deals altogether 4 ticks of damage (3 shreads and the Initial damage) which all build up poison. But the problem is this: All these attacks require you to stand there for quite a time. The charged r2 has one of the longest chargetimes in the game and the l2 has to be held continously. The dash attack of the Logarius wheel however is in comparison a quick attack, that can be used from a relatively safe distance and giving you some s right before the attack. Plus it has a really high poise damage to stagger enemies so you can easily escape afterwards. Plus, since you'll be using poison gems your physical attack will be quite low since you are missing those physical % gems. The wheel scales with both streangth and arcane with a build in arcane damage, while the Wirligig Saw only deals physical damage naturally. So with a arcane\streangth hybrid you will do more base damage in addition to the poison with the wheel than with a streangth char using the saw. The logarius wheel is the better poison alternative overall, but use whatever you want. Both are really good and quite honestly the best way to deal poison damage.
