Taking more of a visual approach with some maths here and there, this video introduces the various generalisations of the Poisson Point Process such as Marked Poisson Process, Compound Poisson, Compensated Poisson, Cluster Poisson (Neyman-Scott, Bartlett-Lewis), Doubly Stochastic (Cox process), Filtered Poisson, and Non-homogenous Poisson processes.

This channel is one of the few KZfaq notifications that always gets me excited, and feeling less hopeless with respect to my learning journey, before you and maybe a few other resources I had hit my head for intuition and looking for specific derivations behind some of these things for a while.
