• Things I did in Japan
Since I am now saving up to book a ticket come end of February (4 months!) I am going to be reviewing all the footage alongside the research on where we want to go. I was recommended to go to Yoshino which looks incredible, accommodations get booked far in advance so I need to do some research although apparently a day trip from Osaka or Nara is possible. I do want to do some otaku things too. I would LOVE to see the moving Gundam in Yokohama and originally the Licca Chan Castle was on my list which is in Ono, Fukushima. And the beaches of Okinawa. So there is a pass which can allow you to take bullet trains throughout Japan for 7 days unlimited- $450 cad - and flights to Okinawa $160 round trip. In the 7 days could we do Osaka, Kyoto, Fukushima? Looks like Kyoto to Fukushima is 4 hours! And I also miss Toad very much at Super Nintendo World USJ. I was thinking of cosplaying Toadette to see him again. It all adds up!!! USJ isn’t high priority. I suppose Yoshino & Fukushima… I would be happy to get a snap of a doll at Yoshino and take home one exclusive Licca chan doll from Fukushima. Those two things alone would be Soul fulfilling for 2024! We shall see!!!
