Oh that happened much earlier than some broken new weezing they added That happened to me ALL THE TIME in gen 4 platinum BATTLE FACTORY and Thorton (impossible) becuz it most definitely WILL get it's act together if you've got no fighting move and sweep you with it's moveset double team thunder wave confuse ray and return (while holding leftovers)

Funny thing is: In UltraSun and UltraMoon, you don't need the three Regis for Regigigas, yet on Sword and Shield, you need all FIVE Regis in order to capture the Pokémon.

@@hakimi8091 Well the meta has changed since the time he was added, there are now things more powerful than regigigas so it wouldn't hurt if he were to be buffed. That said with Sword and Shield we entered a new meta one that changes with every expansion. If he was allowed in during seasons 1 - 3 I'm sure he would be very strong even with slow start as is. Not to mention with galarian weezing he is relevant even in season 7 which is almost the full roster But yeah first 3 seasons of swsh were honestly my favorite meta - it was a nice step away from the power creep of gens 6 and 7, and I am sure the same is planned for all the future games. Three different sets of allowed pokemon per game is a treat. Not to mention season 6 introduced popularity bans which I am also hoping is there to stay

luckily, Regigigas is not so bad anymore in gen 8. It can use protect now, and with Dynamax you can stall 3 turns with Max Guard. It's no OU, but it has more options now. Leaving it pretty solid in RU for now.

Sw/sh is the easiest. Get a lv 100 zacian or zamazenta and use the signature move it gets an instant ko and throw a pokeball because it is a garunteed catch

I remember when I was little, back in White 2, I used to be obsessed with this Pokémon. The mystery of it all was so damn cool. Unfortunately, i could never get it, though, due to not knowing anyone who had Black 2 for Registeel. But, here I am now, and a couple of days before Christmas, someone was willing to help me out and gave me their Registeel so i could finally get a Regigigas that was like 10 years in the making, which is now sitting in my party in Pokemon Violet.

Evolution of "legendary" who's only competitively viable in doubles with a friend who has Skill Swap. D: QotD 1: The sole battle I've ever had with a Regigigas isn't even on this video, as it was in Legends: Arceus. It had Slow Start even all the way back in those ancient times, when Pokémon were Pokémon and abilities didn't exist! It still wiped out half my team. X_x
