Hey all! For those of you wondering why we skipped some of the generations, we originally were going to try to include all of them but the script was starting to get a little out of hand and costumes aren't cheap, so we decided to just do our favorites and if people liked the video we would make a sequel and include the ones we skipped! If I recall, the Gallar arenas actually include a "forcefield" around the battle area to prevent what was shown from happening.

I have to agree about the “Gigantimax” gimmick. Like, Mega Evolution was an insanely awesome thing. It breathed new life into old favorites. Why not just stick with that?

You do realize dynamax and gigantimax are two completely different things. Select pokemon have gigantimax forms which not only make them incredibly big and supercharge their attacks they also get new super cool giant forms gengar or garbador.

Christian D Ah. No. I did NOT know that. Ty for the explanation. I do still stand by my opinion about Megas though. I didn’t really enjoy Z-Moves either in Sun and Moon. While they made grinding levels easier, they felt kinda meh. Plus, I felt like had to have all of my Pokémon always holding a Z-Move instead of an item. 😒

Because it made in game battles pathetically easy. Like the only other trainers in the entire game to use mega evolution are your rival (POSSIBLY) and the champion (elite four as well but that only happens after you beat them the first time), and the evil team leader. Same with z moves. You are constantly given an edge above every other npc in the game, making it pathetically easy. At least with dynamax and gigantamx it’s regulated to raids/gym battles/champion tournaments. That way everyone can do it. The only time it’s ever as broken as mega evolution and z moves were is at the battle tower and even then Leon will come in occasionally and Dynamax as well. Now you don’t have that competitive edge over all the npcs that makes them pathetically easy.

Picture a child starring at a field of long grass, the grass starts russling and it looks like something is moving in their... a mix of Children of the Corn / Jaws is playing as the field is clearly alive full of unknown things... a old geezer makes the boy pick one of three pokeballs from of his hand, the boy says "What about the monsters" as he nervously takes slow steps into the tall grass and the old geezer says "You will be fine, im a professor and I taught you everything I know... which is the names of three pokemon in this world which is a lot considering I forgot your name and my grandson Asshat name this morning". The anime actually addresses that last one. The Galar stadiums have transparent shields around the battlefield to protect the audience. Chairman rose even used it to try and contain Eternatus

It comes from the root words Ark refering to Noah's ship, as well as what many people call all sorts of divine transport systems or other divine based magic, and Deus wich is latin for God or Deity. So it's Ark-e-us.

It is quite funny how nothing consequential ever happens in the Pokemon games when any of the missing move besides just missing the move. The only time I ever see anything consequential happen is if you miss jump kick or miss high jump kick.

Fun fact: arceus cant be captured in a normal pokeball. He was the first being in the universe and the egg in which he was born has the material to make a master ball. Master ball is the only way to catch a legendary pokemon

A dark idea for the Sun and Moon real life skit. The trainer is walking in a forest and meets a big creature that looks like it needs a hug so he decides to hug it, he drops his Pokedex, it activates and tells you the Moon Pokédex entire of the Bewear over the sounds of snaps, cracks, gasps and happy squeaks. What, too dark? I don't know where this came from. Edit: for those of you that don't know it I copied it and put it here. This Pokémon has the habit of hugging its companions. Many Trainers have left this world after their spines were squashed by its hug.
