Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It uses the mobile device GPS to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free to play; it uses a freemium business model and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 500 by 2019.
Pokémon Go was released to mixed reviews; critics praised the concept, but criticized technical problems. It was one of the most used and profitable mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide by the end of the year. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.

I was waiting for Niantic to cram Party Play down our throats. Good luck to the solo players out there to get the new Pokemon. I just hope that the new mon does show up after this event is over on Party Play as well.

Do you spoof? How do you have internet on your other phone, do you created and added a new internet line for that 2nd phone? Im a rural player as well and this would help me improve my experience playing by myself

@@Jmurillo5you can create a hotspot on your real phone and join it on your second (if you already have a data plan it will be included in that as long as you don’t go over your allowance)

They expect people to buy that ticket after spending so much on go fest? I'm currently done spending until Mega Lucario comes out Will be going hard on catching Vulpix though even though I have 7 Hundos already and 1 perfect shadow.

Few things: - Party Play is not the only way to encounter Tandemaus. Its available in free research if you wanna grind them - Spawns are mostly good: handful have some pvp utility. Some are quite boring and are repeat common event/biome ones. - Meowth, magneton, and Exeggutor are all good stardust catches, so those spawns alone make it worthwhile to play a bit if you dont like Tandemaus

Tandemaus, like many pokemon, is only good with its gimmick, population-bomb, but unfortunately Pokemon Go's structure does not allow for it to exist. i feel like i'm going to coast until Mega Lucario & Rayquaza makeup day....for "ultra" unlocks they feel very average. Game hype fell off a cliff nearly the moment GoFest ended. Gg Niantic.

This is even is a bit so so I'm happy that galar Meowth is spawing in the wild as I need 1 more shiny for the family and 4x catch xp is worth playing but if I get multiples of the other aloan shinies I'll bin them as I don't need anymore shiny aloan meowth, galar Zigzagonne and Vulpix and Woopers as majority have had c days

Good to get XP, friendship bonus to increase lucky friend chance for trading, and get some good IV PVP pokemon: Perserker & ANinetales, among the others. Seems like a good event to me if you're casually playing and not paying

Ehh another ass event with terrible spawns.. hate tandemaus and the shiny is terrible. Looks like a nice break will do me good and for that week ill just play some monster hunter 😊

Hey, at least there’s a balance, i’m a player that will pay for any purchase bundle at the store but pogo creators like him and others who give their honest opinion on the game mechanics/event performances/bundles to purchase gives the player a limit to stop making Niantic richer than it is, i understand we all love the game but we all hate the game and thats basically the balance Niantic needs to IMPROVE in the future, if you just praise them, Niantic will not care about you or anybody else but the money and that’s how children become spoiled.

Be grateful we even got them. The many shiny boosts in this event and the mega lucario raid day make it worth it for most players, and then there are players like you who just want to complain to the internet. What do you get out of this? Nothing
