Happy New Year! I hope your 2024 is off to a good start. I started my channel two years ago in January with my first Gold and Silver guidebook videos. So to celebrate the new year and my two year channel anniversary, we will complete the walkthrough of the book today. This section of the guide covers the end of the game from Route 16 to the final battle against Red, as well as gym battles against Janine, Brock, Blaine, and Blue. The last pages contain some additional information like how to catch the three Legendary Beasts, nontraditional evolution methods, version exclusives, baby Pokémon, and a complete list of all attacks/moves in the game.
I hope you enjoyed this series! The next guide I’ll flip through is the Ruby and Sapphire guide. Please look forward to that in future videos if you are interested! 💕

I’ve never known of another person whose favorite type is poison! Very cool! Weezing is my favorite poison type. I love grimer and muk too though.

People buying guides are probably not too concerned about spoilers, so not showing all of the Pokémon seems an odd choice

I haven’t made it through a full video because I keep falling asleep 😴 which means the ASMR is perfect!! I really love revisiting the games through these guides, I used to have the Prima ones. Can’t wait for Ruby/Sapphire!

I have a special nostalgia for guidebooks having outright incorrect information in them. As if even they werent immune to playground rumours

Haha that’s a fun way to think about it 😄 I imagine it was difficult to have 100% of the information as close to release as possible, as many online guides are incomplete or incorrect even today in the first few days/weeks after a game comes out
