@@Ditto.007 in America, (I'm not kidding) we have darts known as "waffle darts". I am speaking from experience, put those in some nerf guns and you can REALLY bruise someone. I know this because my niece loves to shoot me with them and see me in pain. SHE LAUGHS AT MY PAIN EVERY TIME!

Now I will say that the stereotypes of everyone in America have a gun, true, but to an extent. Every household tends to be armed. Texas is the exception to the stereotype. Texas, we love our guns.

As bad as Miltank and Drowzee are, I always found it fun in gen 2 to troll Whitney's Miltank with a Drowzee by using Disable to stop its Rollout and Encore to make it keep doing Milk Drink until it runs out of pp.

The other crazy thing about the Porygon situation is that the number of children admitted was greatly inflated due to mass hysteria that swept the country once word got out about the problematic episode. To this day, the number of children who actually suffered these episodes is still a bit skewed, and the only reason it got so out of hand was the news media running with the story and feeding that hysteria. Also yes, I checked: no one passed away from it, but a good handful of affected kids got diagnosed with epilepsy as a result of testing by healthcare professionals.

There was a shift in the Anime Industry, There has been no Anime episode made after that "Incident" that contained rapid flashing color sequences to my knowledge. OF course if it wasn't Pokémon It would've been something else.

The real number is likely in the single digits. Out of the 700+ Ambulance calls, most of the kids had suffered nothing more than headaches or migraines, with Paramedics who showed up deciding they didn't warrant a trip to the hospital visit. Of those dozens that DID get taken in an ambulance, the majority recovered on their own on the trip, with less than a dozen people ACTUALLY being kept at hospital for treatment - all of whom had some history of photosensitive epilepsy.

I wholeheartedly hope that Porygon will come back in the new series, as it’s a different series, so therefore the ban rules wouldn’t apply to it, I think? Porygon is my all-time favorite Pokémon so I hope that it can be animated again. It’s been so long since the incident that they now know what they can and can’t do, so it should be fine.

The reason it's disliked is because it's not good in a Johto playthrough. all the gyms grass would be strong against were taken by kanto, so Meganium isn't strong against anything. It's not the design, its the region

The specific one this meme is talking about is that Goku died at the end of the Cell Saga, the next time we saw him was the Majin Buu Saga, where he got to visit the living world for a time, and he revealed that he kept up his training in the afterlife and reached a form higher than Super Saiyan 2, that being Super Saiyan 3 (the form in the Meme)

In X and Y when you encounter a Zangoose/Seviper horde one spawn is the other version exclusive (this is the only way to get them without trading), and they are a bit difficult to catch (the odd one out) because the rest of the horde will mostly attack that one. It was a cool little easter egg/thought that they decided to put in (to me at least). Although I do feel bad for the odd one out poor little guy.

14:00 Additionally, in Black 2 and White 2, there is a specific place with dark grass where both Seviper and Zangoose can spawn. If they both appear at the same time, they'll fight each other until one faints, meaning you can just spam status moves to help one win so you can catch it.

When you think about it Meowscarada is pretty good despite being a biped it can criple a large number of the Gym Leaders and some of the Titans and it could do well against some of The Team Star Admins so its a solid playthrough member like Skeledurge plus all the starters have a second type triangle like the Sinnoh starters but Dark and Ghost help Meowscarada and Skeldurge with more of the major battles than Quacksquavel

10:30: the robot is a character from the KZfaq animated series, “Murder Drones” known as N. They are an affable vampire kind of villain meaning they are like a sidekick sometimes but other times they’re an enemy to the protagonist. Murder drones is a KZfaq show in progress of being completed but you can still watch it. It’s about a bunch of worker drones that are build to resemble human beings that gain self-awareness, and the company they worked for doesn’t like that so they send Disassembly drones to kill all of the worker drones. I am not going to go over the entire thing so watch the film if you want to learn more about N’s lore.

On the topic of a Central American region I actually had an idea for a panther Pokémon based off alebrije. Ghost type of course. And a regional plant inspired Pokémon based off marigolds. And if the player can explore cenote pits that would be cool. There is a lot of cool real world lore around that geological feature that I think would be fun to explore in the open world direction that Pokémon is going. Honestly it would just be cool to see Central and South American cultures get featured more because there really is lots of cool things to feature that can make such a region feel unique but still connect with a Japanese and world audience (I mention Japanese distinctly because the Pokémon company seems to put more of a focus on its Japanese audience’s preference over a world wide one).

17:00, something people don’t notice though, in episode 40 when Bulbasaur finally gets a “mega” he uses Solar Beam on Raichu and Al. If it was dynamax, that Solar Beam would have been turned into Max Overgrowth, but it remained the same. So they technically were megas all along.
