Wallace Cheung Actually, if you've talked to the dude that's around the same area at the top of the battle resort just above Battle Maison, ( a cool trainer I think.), he mentions that somewhere along the line they plan to remodel the Battle resort with plants to make it the "ultimate trainer's paradise." He ultimately finishes his pieces "The new place will be called the battle frontier." So it means something is indeed up.

Nazeem there is already an interview with Masuda saying, there will be no BF. Maybe in the next game or next gen, but according to what he said, i doubt that.

In lost to her multiple times before realizing a Metagross can halt her whole strategy. Thunder punch for Milotic, Psychic for Seviper, and Meteor Mash for Shuckle. Plus he completely stops Shuckle from poison-sandstorm stalling since Metagross is immune to both.

LotionMaster It's a shame. Junichi Masuda once said that they didn't add the Battle Frontier because it was difficult for new players. So, it never gonna happen. :'(

Yeah, but HG/SS incorporated pretty much every significant thing Crystal added and made it its own--the events with Eusine and Suicine, the Radio shows exclusive to Crystal, a female playable character with Lyra etc, as well as raising the levels of most of the bosses (except for Whitney, who for whatever reason got her team dropped one level) for added difficulty. Since all FR/LG did was copy-paste everything R/B had with added unnecessary tutorials, Leaf, and a short post-game foreshadowing Gen 2, HG/SS significantly raised the bar on what to expect from a remake and what Game Freak can do, especially since FR/LG added nothing from Yellow when even HG/SS added the ability to walk with your Pokémon. OR/AS was good, but added nothing from Emerald until post-game, with several nods here and there in the Delta Episode but not much else. Plus, they lowered the levels of most of the Gym Leaders, showing they didn't learn from X/Y that the Exp Share can easily cause players to become overleveled and didn't account for raising the levels of most Trainers. They also didn't add Gym Leader rematches, the Desert Underpass, the Mirage Tower, or the Battle Frontier among other things that made Emerald more appealing than R/S. I can understand not adding certain things like the Magma Hideout in Mt. Chimney to keep Team Magma and Team Aqua exclusive to each version for story purposes, but the rest kinda drags it down to the point it feels like they're holding back certain features on purpose when HG/SS did so much, y'know? Even those games added Platinum's Battle Frontier, when Crystal only had a Battle Tower. I don't mean to sound like I'm whining or ungrateful or anything, because OR/AS are still some of my favorite games from the series despite all this, but it's just odd they'd hold back certain things like this when we know they can pull out all the stops on a game if they really wanted to (like with HG/SS).

Jan Itor In terms of story, they significantly improve on ruby and sapphire but not emerald, with exceptions for the delta episode which is much better than the Gen 3 deoxys battle. (OR/AS are better games in every aspect except story) Emerald has a significantly better story and fighting Team Aqua and Magma simultaneously in addition to having all 3 legendary pokemon in the plotline is much more intense than just having 1 depending on the version.

I doubt it will come "back" as it was never even in Ruby and Sapphire. If lucky, the battle frontier might be added in a later update or dlc. Would be more likely to come with the emerald remake that will probably happen in a future gen.

In Emerald, the Hoenn Frontier Brains are beyond tough. If you have ever played Platinum or HGSS, the 5 Sinnoh Brains are a joke compared to the Hoenn Brains.

I have played platinum but I never got to the battle frontier brains because I wasn't as good back then and I have a bad team on platinum.. Also I believe what your saying because they are meant to be super hard..
