Real Talk: Could the Regi Golems feasibly defeat the Pillar Men? Think their in game lore rather than their stats.

Alright. Here’s my analysis. So the Pillar Men are highly intelligent beings that can manipulate their bodies in any which way possible, from regeneration to infiltrating bodies. They are physically stronger than humans and vampires, but are very weak to sunlight. With the Stone Mask, they can become living Gods. The Regi Golems, meanwhile, aren’t really ‘living beings.” Regirock somehow functions without a brain or heart, Regice cannot be melted, and Registeel is completely hollow. They are living automatons, if you want to call them living. In terms of any light-based attacks that the Regis have, they all share Zap Cannon, and Registeel had Flash Cannon. However, this may not be considered as sunlight or UV light. They can learn Sunny Day through TM, but that’s through a TM, and not naturally. Raw strength-wise, the Pillar Men have the better physical power. However, breaking these robots will be tough. Registeel has an almost alien-esque metal to its body that cannot be scratched due to thousands of years of pressure. Regice can freeze things that are in its vicinity. Regirock can break apart, but it can simply take scattered rubble to rebuild itself. This battle could go either way. If the Regis had sunlight-based attacks (which they may or may not have), the Pillar Men could be on losing end. However, without it, and with their higher intelligence, the Pillar Men could win out. However, as the end of Battle Tendency has shown, they can be frozen. Regice can control a temperature as low as -358 degrees Fahrenheit (-267 Celsius), about 100 degrees before absolute zero. This may or may not work. Also, since Ripple is in all living beings, I’m not sure if the Regis would be able to utilize Ripple, since we’re not sure if their actual organisms (I don’t think they are...) There is one who is, however: Regigigas. Ripple requires breathing and can take the form of sparks-Thunder Punch, anyone? The thing is also MUCH stronger than the Pillar Men, being around continent level, according the legends. However, it being a living thing, we don’t know its intelligence, and that could be its downfall to the very clever Pillar Men. So that’s my analysis. To be honest, the fight comes to a standstill. Both parties do not have the means to cause permanent harm unless the Regis get Sunny Day or the Pillar Men have a way to get around the Regis invulnerability. Ripple may defeat stone, but not steel.

mean the regis aren;t that tanky actually.... mostly due to the fact that they're only recovery is leftovers also only registeel has a good defensive typing, being steel. Ice is nonexistance defensily, and rock is weak to way to many special-oriented types
