My only complaint is the you would have such a fragile team where all of the investment is in atk and sp. atk where you should normally have ATLEAST 1 proper tank so as to sponge damage to allow your glass cannons to recover mid-battle.

I remember this music in Pokemon Brick Bronze. It gives me so much nostalgia especially when I was battling the 5th gym. That was my intense battle in the game other than Cypress and Captain B. 8th gym is definitely the hardest but I will never forget about that mega Garchomp. That thing was a monster until I used an ice type move. Luckily, I didn't lose a single gym. I almost lost against the 2nd gym the first time I played.

Aside from Clair and Whitney, the rest of the gym leaders were an absolute joke (especially if you picked cyndaquil as your starter). Hoenn has Juan and Norman, and unlike Johto the rest of the Gym Leaders were a legitimate challenge too

Honestly, no gym leader has really given me a problem since Whitney, and I was a kid. I didn't want to use Machop or Geodude, I wanted to play with the new mons. Not trying to sound like some sort of e-tough guy or something, but unless it's a Nuzlocke I usually just battle the gym leader, beat 'em and move on without a second thought. You want salt though, let's talk about the Maison. :[

+MrVideo0814 In Emerald that may be true, but in the other Hoenn games Tate and Liza were a joke. Many LetsPlayers actually raged a little that they repeated the Ruby/Sapphire error in ORAS. The Gym rematches (a planned ROM hack feature of mine) are gonna be better though, all I'm saying is Tate and Liza get new signature Pokemon... Mega-evolving signature Pokemon... (Yes, every Gym Leader will be capable of Mega Evolution in the rematches, and both Gen4+ and hacked Pokemon will be options for their team, it will actually turn out they held back a lot on the first encounter...)

+Ryskar Yes, the Maison. The Delta Episode battles were already on a new challenge level, and in the rematch the League improved pretty much, but then we got offered the area of the hardest battles Hoenn ever saw

The Grass Gym from Pokemon Brick Bronze. The exact start when the battle begins: 0:29 Don't chu dare use that Venasaur! Truth of this gym: I FAILED 22 times and by my last 23rd tries I won. Guess how much pain went through that moment guys.

My experience with each gym leader: Roxanne( that nosepass critical hit my treeko?) Brawly( How many times do I have to read "you ran out of usable pokemon"?) Watson( why is the third one easier than the first two?) Flannery(easy but that torkoal took a while to go down.) Norman(If that slaking wasn't loafing around...) Winona( how many dragon dances does one possibly need?!) Twins( they were actually pretty fun. Not too hard but a decent enough challenge) Juan( That kingdra caused me to flip countless tables...) but it was still fun :p

I beaten Zeek easily but Captain B's Mega Sableye was kind of annoying and her Gengar was kind of tough but I did end up winning. Zeek is only hard if you barely have anything good against him and your level is lower.

I really think hoen is the best region, it had the best pokemon designs in my opinion. I think the hoen pokemon feel more "pokemony" to me, i dont know why. And if they would make a hoen remake i would think its because we all want it, hopefully they will listen to us.

They were much better than hoenn pokemon... Gallade,Giratina,Staraptor,roselia,luxray, Arceus, garchomp, toxicroak, Dialga, Infirnape,Empoleon,Abomasnow,and Dusknoir were a lot better than most of the hoenn pokemon and even gave new life to some hoenn pokemon

So many people want Wally to change in the remakes. It might be just me, but i have a feeling like Wally is a great character as he is right now and he don't need to be any different. Young, weak and sick boy who runs away from his home with his Ralts to become a good trainer. He's different than most characters, and that's why i like him so much.

Hate how some guy stole my Ruby game and then SOLD it. He instead gave me Blue version and that was stolen as well. Wish he hadnt taken my game. Had a blaziken my friend ev trained to lvl 100. It could beat any thing. Man I miss the old days of pokemon. Its been almost 6 yearmsince I played an old game like ruby or emerald.

I heard this theme in Pokemon Brick Bronze and This is the 6th Gym leader theme in Pokemon Brick Bronze. I remember being stuck beating the 6th gym leader before the original Pokemon Brick Bronze game got deleted because my starter was squirtle

+Shiny ralts Seriously? Despite you just need any kind of Fighting attack to sweep it like crap? Oh I see, you had problems to get that one Fighting attack? Well, here's a hint: In Rustboro City, there's a house where you can trade a Slakoth for a Makuhita (which was already possible in Ruby/Sapphire according to Bulbapedia). You can catch Slakoth in the Petalburg Woods, and due to Trade XP Bonus, the Makuhita you get levels up insanely fast. If you, however, want a better Fighting type, evolve a Shroomish from the Petalburg Woods. (And use SubPuncher to sweep across all Gyms and the League.)

Back when Ruby and Sapphire were announced most of my classmates had the notion that Sapphire was the Red one because it had "Fire" in it. I knew they were all wrong. Needless to say I was glad to prove them wrong. Also third generation happens to be the only gen where I bought every game for it. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. They definitely did something right. Lol.

Emerald has always been my favorite since it came out. There were always intense battles for me and new possibilities and combinations. Emerald was the hardest for me though. Like Juan's kingdra.. It can go die. But i always had fun
