Defeating 7-Star Sceptile The Unrivaled Tera Raid without using DLC Pokémon or Moves, Legendaries or Version Exclusives.
Hello everyone I'm back again with another Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raid video. This time I attempt to catch the 7-Star Sceptile The Unrivaled with the Dragon Tera Type. I will be using Annihilape with the Ghost Tera and a Shell bell item. Yep the Rage Fist strategy returns with help from Taunt to shut down Dragon Dance. For teammates I recommend Intimidate users as well as teammates with speed control moves. Good luck and hope you enjoy the video.
What I used: Raid Pokémon Info:
Annihilape Sceptile Tera: Dragon
Ability: Defiant Ability: Unburden
Nature: Adamant Nature: Hasty
Terra: Ghost Moves:
Item: Shell Bell Leaf Blade
EVs: Breaking Swipe
4 HP Dragon Dance
252 Attack Thunder Punch
252 Defense Additional Moves:
Moves: Leaf Storm
Rage Fist Earthquake
Bulk Up
Taunt
Protect

So the move list in order: Taunt Bulk Up x2 Rage Fist Bulk Up Taunt Bulk Up (Shield goes up) Rage Fist x3 Tera Rage Fist Rage Fist until battle is over.

Yooooo! Annihilape is eatin!!!! Thanks for the Strat wolf! This is by far the most consistent and fun looking one. Just have to watch out for that crit which thee Ape ate like a lunchable. Lol

Thanks for this. Really didn't feel like building a Clefable just for this raid. Only thing is make sure you don't get Arboliva as a teammate. Got it the first two times I tried and kept getting oneshotted thanks to seed sower/leaf blade. Third time no Arboliva finished with well over half time remaining. Liked and subbed.

Thanks! This works wonders. I don't have the DLC so been searching for the alternatives. I'm lazy to EV Train so I use the existing EV max on Speed and Attack. Works on first try! So I sub to your channel

Tried a Azumarill Strat where Sceptile refused to use Thunder Punch until at max Attack which gave me the idea for Taunt Annihilape.

I kinda think that annihilape would have been more effective with ice punch but rage fist is stronger so I understand

That's the Super Effective swindle. While Ice Punch is more powerful initially, Rage Fist gains 50 power after getting hit (up to max 350) making it stronger long-term even accounting for Ice Tera.

ok, thank you. Did it first time with a Annihilape with 252 atk and 252 hp ( diddn't want to make an other pokemon... ) got it first try with Bellinolt who paralized it.

I prefer Adamant for the extra damage but you could probably get away with a plus Defense nature.

For me, the Sceptile always attack before my bulk up. Is it normal? In your video you are able to bulk up first. I have max IV on everything. Not max EV attack/def.

Its because Haxorus used Scary Face lowering Sceptile's Speed.

Have you unlocked 6 Star Raids? It's a black raid symbol on the map( Sceptile raid sould make it 2). If not you have to beat a few 5 Star Raids until Jacq calls you to give you access to 6&7 Star Raids.

Does it matter if the annhilape has 252 HP and Attack instead? Is that a good alternative?

Sure, the difference between max HP or max Defense is negligible.
