Eri uses Heal Balls because she's nurturing Mela uses Quick Balls because she's impatient Ortega the rich kid uses Luxury Balls Giacomo, a scrupulous musician, uses Timer Balls Atticus uses Repeat Balls because he's a bit obsessed with that historical life

I like how they took the other types not used for the gym leaders and made them into team star boss battles instead.

So basically, now it sums up to this. *Team Rocket:* Basically the mafia. *Team Magma:* A team seeking Groudon in order to expand the land in a misguided effort to improve the lives of mankind. *Team Aqua:* A team seeking Kyogre in order to expand the sea in a misguided effort to improve the lives of mankind. *Team Galactic:* A team of mostly unaware people whose leader seeks to rewrite the entire universe to get rid of emotion and spirit. *Team Plasma:* A team with a cultlike idea that pokemon who are released will have happy lives, but in reality, their leader is seeking total control over Unova. *Team Flare:* A team who seeks to wipe out mankind in order to start the world anew, purely because their leader grown tired of the sins of mankind. *Team Skull:* A bunch of juvenile delinquents who have no idea what they're doing. *Aether Foundation:* Somebody put that chick in a straitjacket! But beyond that, they double as a wildlife sanctuary and a research facility. *Team Yell:* A bunch of Marnie superfans trying to get Spikemuth back in the spotlight. *Macros Cosmos:* A corporate entity with some underhanded means to try and fix the energy crisis. *Team Star:* Students who had gone rogue due to the rampant bullying issues they had to deal with.

Team Star was legitimately my favorite part of the game. I'm a sucker for misfit found families and the writing for the storyline was so dang endearing

I'm loving all the fairy-type specialists so far. Valerie, Opal, Bede and now Ortega, all are amazing.

Eri is my favorite Team Star Boss because of her caring and nurturing personality. Besides that I also like the way she dresses and the face paint that she uses as well as her combat stance and sticker photo shoot.

God the cutscenes about the bullying Team Star suffered hit close to home

I kinda understand team star's boss behaviour and way of thinking. Sometimes you cannot feel good within the school atmosphere, maybe because something bad happened to you or because you're not accepted by others, and these moments can really change someone's personality, and thus making negative traits in your behaviour. However the reason why someone is mean is just because he wants to hide his weaknesses and not being bullied again. And the fact that every boss leaves the team after their battle means that they're now ready to start again, this time in a better way.😊

Eri is literally the only character in the entire game I had any trouble beating and I appreciate her so much more for it

I figured Team Star wouldn't be as threatening as the other organizations we had in older games, but this was still good. To think they made a team that had relatable characters is impressive. We haven't had flashbacks of the characters since Black and White. I still think the Starmobile should've exploded for more effect.

I like that all of their cards show how they respect you after their loss, while also reflecting their character. Giacomo has a casual handshake Mela has a painful handshake because she's tough, but she has a semi-friendly smile Atticus bows because he's fancy Ortega is also fancy, but just sticks to reflecting that with a handshake Eri does the "epic handshake" which is seen as a tough and masculine

Penny being an Eeveelution trainer is so dope

Two things. -Clive's jawdrop and sound effect when Cassiopeia revealed she was the Boss was priceless. Been a while since I laughed so hard. -I have only played generation 3 and 4 games, so I don't know how the previous games were in that aspect, but the soundtrack for the Boss battoes here? My god, they were incredible! More than the design change, the animation, the greater interaction and reaction, it's the music what I loved the most from this video. And the plot... it's refreshing after how repetitive the first games were in that aspect.

I love the subtle characterization in thier choice of pokeballs. Giacomo: Timer balls. Could be a sign of him becoming calmer and more patient since his student council days. Mela: Quick balls. Symbolizes her impatience and short temper. Atticus: Repeat balls. Referencing the shadow clone ninja trope. Ortega: Luxury balls. A sign of his wealth. Given how luxury balls work, it could also mean that he has a deep connection with his pokemon. Eri: Heal balls. Emphasizes her caring and protective nature.

I love team star so much, Not only did i find them challenging but the backstory of them is really well written also their music is a vibe

This storyline is my absolute favorite, probably in any Pokémon game. Just, all of the bosses being there for each other when nobody else was, Penny just existing (she may be my favorite character), and all of the character designs and battles!

As someone who got bullied at school to almost the point of suicide, this is probably the most accurate rappresentation of being bullied in video games, except for the school actually giving a shit and wanting to hear your side of the story, the staff at my school gave the least amount of caring possible, they knew i was getting bullied, but i only remember one time when they tried to help me, and it was just "i told you not to go in there because there was (insert bully name here)" my bully never got a goddam punishment, me on the other hand? Oh boy... Edit: for those wondering, yup im fine now, the only thing i regret rn is to not have slammed the biggest book i had on that bastard's skull.

When we first encounter team star at the academy, i was like : pff, an other stupid antagonist team like team yell. But when you fight all team star bosses and penny at the end and look at the flashbacks, it instantly become my favorite quest of the game.

Now I’m just saying this, but according to Bulbapedia and Serebii, Giacomo, Mela and Atticus’ Starmobile’s have different movesets. Giaocmo’s Starmobile has these moves according to Bulbapedia: Wicked Torque, Snarl, Metal Sound and Swift, but according to Serebii it is instead Wicked Torque, Swift and Spin Out. Mela’s Starmobile has the same moves except according to Bulbapedia, Mela’s Starmobile has Swift while according to Serebii it instead has Spin Out. And Atticus’ Starmobile has the exact same moves according to Bulbapedia and Serebii but it doesn’t have Smog according to Serebii. I don’t know why Bulbapedia and Serebii can’t agree on what movesets the Starmobile’s have, yet they both say that Ortega and Eri’s Starmobile’s have the same movesets on both Bulbapedia and Serebii.

When I played the game for the first time I thought it was gonna be another dumb version of team rocket, galactic, flare, and more. But when I got into the story I feel a little sympathy. Then I completed the story and realized they were just a group of kids that wanted to get back at the people who bullied them and then I started to shed a tear. This has got to be the saddest team created of Pokémon history.
