Reminded me of that Secret boss battle vs Morimoto in Black & White and his team... SUUUUUUCKED. Liepard, Simisage, Simipour, Simisear, Swoobat at level 75 and his ace was a Zebstrika which was lvl 77 (In black and white 2 same team but 1 level higher). And let's not forget Nishino who had a Clefable, Wigglytuff, Azumarill, Alomomola, Lickylicky level 76 and his ace Snorlax lvl 78

I mean we did kinda do that in the past with Hidden Power and Contrary Leaf Storm too.

Nothing better when it comes to Grass-Type Starters’ Hidden Abilities. Venusaur’s Chlorophyll is situational, but provides a good Solar Beam. Meganium’s Leaf Guard is garbage and so is it. Sceptile is burdened by Unburden. Torterra’s Shell Armor can fend off Frost Breath, but again, situational. Chesnaught’s Bulletproof can come in handy, but only with about 30 attacks out of HOW many? Decidueye’s Long Reach is a fun ability for dealing with certain Pokémon with contact abilities. Close second to Serperior’s Contrary. Rillaboom’s Grassy Surge definitely benefits some of its best moves, but it’s a double-edged sword. Meowscarada’s Protean was so much better before they nerfed it. Shame; that would’ve put it at the top. And any Grass-Type worth its salt should have a Rock-Type move to crush the competition. Or Rock-type Tera Blast, in this case. All in all, Serperior is a superior choice in most situations.

​@@Kemix0711Venu Chlorophyll is REALLY good especially on sun teams where it almost always shines. Leaf guard meganium is alright but not amazing. Sceptile is definitely NOT burdened by Unburden. That Ability is amazing. Torterra Shell armour can stop it from getting crit when setting up iron defenses for body press and the likes. It removes rng as a factor for the game. Chesnaught bulletproof makes it an amazing pivot since SO MANY common Moves get stopped by bulletproof. Decidueye long reach has some uses and can save it against some rng or rocky Helmet/rough skin or iron barbs but that's about it nowhere close to serperior contrary though. Rillaboom grassy Surge literally got the move grassy glide nerfed so that speaks volumes. It's actually really good to buff your stab and gives grassy Glide priority. It can become unstoppable from there if not treated correctly. Meowscarada has protean. It got nerfed but that can still really help in buffing u-turn or playing mind games with the opponent. H-Decidueye has scrappy which stops it from getting predicted by ghost types and can carry on sweeping if set up to do so.

Yeah its more dangerous than most legendaries. Worthy for a final boss ace pkmn. I needed an Lv 95 Chancey with eviolite and use X-Spec Def just to survive its attacks xD

Not always the case, but that does apply to half his team here. The starters are 88%/12% M/F, but Zeb is 50/50, Goth is 25/75 and Mandi is always female.

@evermoreboi he's talking about the main effect of Burn which is damage over time. If he didnt get that then the serpeior would have been able to heal over time meaning it would survive an attack. The burn nullifies that by doing the same amount of damage that Leftovers heals.

Similar team as the original Red, too. Three starters, an electric type, a psychic type (Espeon, which probably got replaced by Lapras in all other versions to keep his team entirely Kanto). The only outlier is his Mandibuzz.

For the most part after gen 5 its always been easy to get a shiny.

People who mess with ivs and such are not the majority of players!! Even knowing about them well enough to use them to your advantage is rare, if you were to ask every single pokemon fan, I think. This is a fight designed to be challenging to the majority of players. If you want it to be more challenging, make it more challenging yourself! Use weaker pokemon, with no items, and other self-imposed rules like that or just go on pokemon showdown or something if you cant be bothered

How tf did you beat a contrary serperior with a rhydon of all things

@kemosonicfan123lbp rock head ability, which gets of recoil damage, used a bunch of hard hitting moves. These games are piss easy and these double battles are over hyped, leakers were all "you'll need to use VGC tatics" sure.

@@Voniyon ah yes people with friends or access to a discord/reddit that coincides with the western timezone. Its kinda funny other continental players do exist but due to differing languages or hassle to use english in social areas that they just pair with their own locals making groups small for lesser player base countries.

Even without friends you can gain BP. Complete the quests and unlock the flying feature to make it go faster. As for the timezone thing I can not control. Most of DLC as a whole can be completed without friends nearly with the exception of the legends (Which I will admit is dumb).

@@Voniyon you can but if the speed of gaining is at minimum 3x faster plus the perks of union BBQ which yeild so much. Just would have been nice if you could do this with stock npcs, coaches, or make a random union cirlce function like the raids.
