Also, for those wondering yes this is a full odds run! and alot of the shinies were found live on stream so if you want more context to this video feel free to watch back the streams!

Note: terrastalizing doesn't remove your original stab, just adds a new one. If you already had the type, the stab boost becomes 2x instead of 1.5x. So a fairy move would've been better in the final fight.

I love how the first shiny I found on my first playthrough was a random shiny Bisharp while I was trying to evolve my current Bisharp. Needless to say, the first Bisharp is living a peaceful life in the box now.

My first unintended full odds shiny in this game was, of all pokemon you could get, gyarados. The only pokemon you could ever get shiny guaranteed. Kind off pissed me off in the moment since i had like 3 in my bank but it was still a cool expirience

FYI, terastalizing your pokemon does not get rid of it's prior STAB, it only changes your defensive typing and gives you an extra STAB for the type you terastalize to. If you terastalize to a type you already have it will have a 2x STAB bonus instead of 1.5x

Lumina crash is a special attacking move that lowers the enemy’s special defence by two stages, that’s why it did so much more damage

31:45 Terastalizing doesn't remove the STABs your pokemon already has, but adds an additional STAB from their Tera type. Pretty sure you're told about this by the classes. So not Terastalizing wouldn't have mattered for the damage Psychic did.

@@aaaaahhh6647 this is wong, it just removes the other type from your pokemons weakness chart, not its STABs. and it adds a 50% Stab multiplier to your tera type, and thats addative to pre existing tera types, so in this case, gardevoirs fairy STABs is 2.0x dmg multiplier instead of the regular 1.5x

That makes no sense. Outbreaks modify shiny odds, therefore it’s not full odds. That’s like saying I hunt full odds SOS or full odds fish chaining.

@@ItsRJ_YT due to how limited the spawns are in area zero, using tier 3 foods you can get them all done quite quickly.

"Psychic without STAB" You keep your old STABs when you terastalize as well as gain your new STAB/Boosted STAB. Defensively you're now a monotype, but your Gardevoir kept it's STAB.

The reason lumina crash did more the second time is because every time you get his by it it harshly lowers your special defence:)

You said full odds but if you KO’d 60 Pokémon in the outbreak your odds are more like 1/1000 that hunt wasn’t full odds

This is true I believe as doing the 60 kills in the outbreak drops the odds down to normal shiny charm odds which are 1/1365 roughly, so not true full odds for sure but still entertaining nevertheless 🤷♂️

For the Star Bases, you aren't given the option to switch in Switch Mode, and any moves used that switch you out don't proc when the leader sends out their Revaroom.

You don’t know why the second lumina crash did a lot more damage? It lowers your special defense by 2 each time it’s used, that’s why it hit so much harder.

Pro tip: if you are looking for shiny Pokémon then go get some ice cream. I some how found out that in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet eating ice cream from the ice cream shops will boost your luck for getting shiny Pokémon.

In the last battle you said you used Psychic without STAB, but that's untrue. In the classes at Naranja it tells you that you Terastilyzing either gives you normal STAB on a move (1.5x) or boosts your STAB if you're Tera to a type you already are (2x). The only downside to Tera is your defenses, so like Larry's Staraptor losing the flying type making it weak to fighting and able to be hit by ground type moves.
