I like how Larry's team is both Normal and Flying type instead of just being one or the other.

It also makes the fight a bit harder because the Flying types can function as coverage for the Fighting types you would otherwise sweep his team with.

@@vince5456 There's actually been a facility like the Battle Tree in every single main series title since Crystal, with the exception of LGPE if you count it. Even vanilla Scarlet and Violet somewhat have it with the Ace Academy Tournament. I think SV just eases you into it a lot more than the last 20 years of pokemon ever had. Crystal: Battle Tower is next to Olivine City on route 40. Returns in HGSS as part of the Sinjoh Frontier Ruby/Sapphire: Battle Tower is accessable via the SS Tidal once you beat Steven. Returns in Emerald as part of the Hoenn Frontier Firered/Leafgreen: Trainer Tower located on Seven Island Diamond/Pearl: Battle Tower in the Battle Park. Returns in BDSP and as a part of the Sinjoh Frontier in Platinum Black/White: Battle Subway via the Gear Station in Nimbasa City after Ghetsis is defeated. Also appears in B2W2 Black2/White2: The Pokemon World Tournament south of Driftveil X/Y: Battle Maison in Kiloude City, also appears in the Battle Tower's spot in ORAS, accessible after the Delta Episode (Plus honourable mention of the Battle Chateau in the center of Route 7) Sun/Moon: Battle Tree at the end of Poni Gauntlet USUM: Battle Agency inside Festival Plaza (basically Battle Tower but Rental Pokemon) Sword/Shield: Battle Tower in Wyndon Scarlet/Violet: Already stated above

Larry’s Team is a 10/10 I like how some use starters. Geisha’s lead is my favorite of the leads (Alolan Ninetales is one of my favorite Pokémon)

Snow Warning and Aurora Veil is a great opening combo. Abomasnow and Alolan Ninetales can pull that off easily.

Happy you can rematch them anytime you want now for just 200 BP each. BP is so easy to farm when you know what to do. Now, just waiting for the Paldean/BB Elite 4 rematches.

I agree. But it's actually justified in-universe since there's no way of evolving Ursaring in the region. The one Ursaluna was said to have wandered over from somewhere else.

@@raffigani8303 They should have, but they didn't. And thus they maintain an in-universe reason as to why Ursaluna isn't used in the battle. It seems they wanted to keep some Hisui evolutions exclusive to PLA.

Will it be like the Academy Ace Tournament were you can repeated as often as you want to get a variety of rewards with each run after the first, the trainers will be random out of the possible trainers.

Im a bit disappointed these end game fights aren't lv 100. Outside of players who go straight through the dlc with no prep 9-1 odds thars where your mons are and probably should be.

Hell no. Only reason you'd have level 100s is if you pump them full of candy to steamroll through everything or you only ever use the same 6 to 8 mons. Both seem like terrible ways to play.

@fotuto13 for the story sure, but super bosses(which these games haven't really had sense HG/SS with red) are meant to be extremely high level. These are completely optional fights in a dlc that pushes you towards competitive play. But that's probably just a me problem given how I handled the dlc. The challenge where your forced to use new stuff didn't really seem much tougher at same level so I don't think I was missing much. I was more interested in the story.

No they aren't. The only exception is the Pokémon that they terastalize and those only have 252 EVs in HPs

I wanted to make a challenge where I only used Pokemon that none of the major trainers used, but after GameFreak pretty much gave away all the worthwhile non-Legendaries to these trainers in their rematches, I feel no guilt at all in just spamming Legendaries to have an unique team. Maybe next time they will leave SOMETHING worthwhile instead of forcing people who are trying to make a team of mons no other major npc uses to shove trash like Vivillon in to pad the numbers... Why yes I am salty that i now have to remove Alolan Vulpix and Totodile from the list of Pokémon that nobody uses. -_- thanks, GameFreak. Whatever, I'll just grab Kyogre and nuke everything with its excessive sp.atk rating to get some frustration out of my system. What's that? Using a mythical Pokémon is unfair? Yeah I don't care anymore, mythical and legendary spam it is. If the Gym Leaders and E4 don't want to be curbstomped by an Arceus, they can stop snapping up the good Pokemon so that I at least can put together a decent team without having to resort to going out, catching literal God, and having him smite them for their greed.
