A Shiny Poochyena was my first Shiny I ever got outside of the Red Gyarados in Silver Version. Was on Emerald Version and the craziest thing got a second Shiny Poochyena later in that playthrough. Also that scene with Ash in the first movie was so sad I admit I cried a little seeing that.

Thanks to this video, I realized that I contracted Pokerus at some point in my Pokemon Black 2 game a while back and had no clue what it was. I saw the status condition and for some reason, did not question it; I got the spiel from the Poke Center Nurse but I always spam through the dialogue, so I wasn’t fully paying attention (I tried talking to her again because I did notice that the dialogue had changed but of course, it was back to normal); I got the phone call after and just thought: “Huh. Weird. So Anyway-“; and _eventually_ noticed pink face icons (which denotes pokerus contraction from Gen 4 onward) on a few of my pokemon. I looked up Pokerus in depth after that point in the video, and I feel pretty dumb lol. Now I’m going to reopen my Black 2 game and look through my party; I’m pretty sure they all have it 🤣
