I'm pretty sure she was only happy about Kartana because she knew Kartana was basically her trump card. She just got control over a tiny thing that can go fast as hell and cut through almost anything. There's no wonder she's happy about getting to him. She wasn't as happy when he decided to "free" her. In actuality she would've survived the inhaling by being stuck to the ground in the first place! Kartana fail!

I love how since the battle was smaller, it allowed for a lot more details and references like the rivalry between clown and wires, stackastack being triggered by people on top of it, along with the B sword one’s unstoppable slicing ability which were all expressed in the anime!

Nah. That’s just basic type matchups. Regice not melting from Groudon’s heat in the legendary Pokémon battle is what I would call an attention to detail. Regice melting from the scorching heat would be funny and logical from both a real world logic and type matchup logic. But doing proper research, learning that would not happen lorewise and showcasing these fun interactions is the best.

If I did my math (and counting) right, that PC storage system has enough room for over 681 TRILLION Pokémon ...M I N I M U M. For those curious, I counted at LEAST 60 rows of 7 boxes in the 9:07 scroll. That's 420 in that one panning shot. I could have missed a few rows (it went by SO fast) and there's almost certainly more below, but let's just use 420 as the lowball for how many boxes are in this... 54,073,240,981st Box of Boxes. Not individual Pokémon, BOXES of them. The number doesn't go down by 420 or any other amount when Sudowoodo shifts menus. It goes down by ONE. Oak has 54 billion Boxes of POKÉMON BOXES. It's time to math. 54,073,240,981 Box Boxes x 420 Boxes (again, VERY low minimum) x 30 Pokémon per Box There's room for 681,322,836,360,600 Pokémon in there. And I have to emphasize again, that is an EGREGIOUSLY low lowball estimate. There's almost certainly more than 420 Boxes in each Box Box and there's no way of knowing if each of those Boxes hold ONLY 30 Pokémon like a typical in-game box does.

Kartana talking backwards was the best reference to the anime outta all of these. And that's saying something considering that Xurkitree vs. Blacephalon was literally just an entire episode of the anime. Also yeah, something about regular Pokémon, legendary Pokémon, Baby Pokémon, Mega Evolution, Gigantamax, and now Ultra Beasts. That still leaves Z-Moves which could still be possible but even then . . . Something about Terrastalization and Paradox Pokémon. . . . iT aLl CoMeS tOgEtHeR . . .

The less Pokémon there is, the more you can focus on the ones that are there. Gives the ability to show off their quirks, compared to just Pokedex entries and game stats. Less action, but I think it's a good trade off for more "depth"

Ultra beast are really funny, it can go from a monster with a masive mouth, to paper, to a spaceship, to a cute thing, a buff mosquito, to a clown that can remove its head and make it explode... ultra beast are truly random
