My only complaint was literally the speedup button, or lack there of. I understand the reasoning but sometimes that mf was SLOW & definitely reminded me how spoiled we are with it lol but with good reason. So much potential in this game, they said it was gonna have 150 New Pokemon, so I'm READY!

The speedup button is in the emulator, not the rom. What romhack has an in-engine speedup button?

@Halcyon Acoustic yeah you can technically use a speed up feature on your emulator but at least for me, it made me unable to move or do anything pretty much.

Having to backtrack all the way to the beginning of the route and ride back to the center just to heal nearly every time sounds too tedious, which is a shame because a lot of these mons look really cool... Maybe if you unlock a fast travel to town early on enough, it could be worth playing for me?

Me too. Also, do you mean hacks that are mostly Fakemon with a few Pokémon, or ones with any? I want to add a few Fakemon, but to have a lot of actual Pokémon as well, along with familiar characters, locations, etc mentioned and visited

I really wanted to play this, but the devs disabling the ability to speed up makes it too slow for me. Having to backtrack to the Pokemon Centre is so tedious.

is it only me or does the speed-up not work for this rom? when i try to speed up with mGBA it lags a lot, so it´s basically unplayable, but the speed-up works for other rom hacks. Anyone else has this problem, and found a fix?

From what i remember, it was intentional by the devs. There are a known way to bypass it, though.

They say it was intentional so player need to pay attention to the story and read it carefully ; which is kinda crippling imo but not gamebreaking Another thing is well, the writing is kinda boring walls of text. Like, you telling us to read a wall of text that runs freaking slow ? If the text appears more instaneous it would be much better. Makes me wanna Jack Garland-ing things due to how slow it runs

devs want to ensure players pay attention to the game and don't rush, which could lead to missing vital information on story and how to progress.

Yes, it's GBA. But IMO, not really my cup of tea. The main problem that people already adressed is that you cannot speed up the game, as the devs said that they'll encourage the player to not miss any vital information to the story. But honestly, the story ain't worth the lack of features described. Mainly because of how the main character are basically an insufferable prick, the anti-speedup becomes a problem much later due to lack of replayabilty, i mean, do you wanna slog through the story again after you replay it ? Overall, not very fun to me.

The devs are taking a serious risk sharing the pre-patched ROM and so do you... I advice to find a patch-only download if possible, and include it in the description instead.

Games dead now, and it seems like a big part of it was the fact that the developers tried to push how *they* wanted people to play (ala no speedup) compared to making a game that wasn't annoying to play. And on the forum post for it, whenever somebody would suggest issues they'd either be ignored or talked down to. Shame, it seemed to have a lot of potential. I'm only posting this so people don't get excited like I did while watching about what could be in store, b/c unfortunately nothing is in store.
