Buddy Adventure is an elevated bonding experience for Trainers and their buddies. You’ll get to know your Buddy Pokémon’s mood as you increase your Buddy Level by playing with your buddy, feeding your buddy treats, and battling and exploring with your buddy. In addition, swapping Buddy Pokémon no longer resets progress toward earning Candy. Like any great Pokémon Trainer, you’ll find that the world around you will become richer with Pokémon by your side as they grow with you and help you along your journey.
The Buddy Adventure feature set will roll out to Trainers around the world by 2020.

I absolutely love how in the park scene, everyone looks and is dressed like their respective Pokémon. It reminds me of that one Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire commercial from 20 years ago!

Even now this commercial makes me cry. I had a rescue dobie that looked like Houndoom. So ofc I named him Griffin (the dobies name) for fun. Sadly, Griffin ran into the street chasing a squirrel and a car killed him... But next day I opened Pokemon GO and my Hounddoom buddy was there. Never cried so hard in my life.

When I first started the Pokemon Blue on Gameboy, Squirtle was my very first Pokemon. Seeing this commercial made me tear up, and appreciated the childhood I had. To the younger generation, I hope y'all enjoy it and make plenty of memories

I've played Pokémon Go since 2019 after this came out, I'm still into it now and my buddy is Wobbuffet, I'm also trying to sign my nephew in, this made me bust out in tears, beautiful representation, everyone loves this heart warming story, absolutely heartwarming.
