This blew my mind when I was a kid. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better.

It's crazy how the GBA emulator on the PSP works a lot better than the GBA emulator on the PS Vita.

You know there's more than one right? Retroarch comes preloaded with three different GBA emulators in it's default config and you can even add more. I play gba on vita constantly at full frames no problem (even downclocked a little for batteries sake). gpSP will get some slowdown in complex romhacks and high end homebrew stuff like Goodboy Galaxy but mGBA hasn't dropped a single frame in any game I've played after tons of hours of play.

seeing this made me remember the days where I found out you can run emulators on the psp, so many good memories.

Sorry guys, I did this over a decade ago, and aside from the psp brick replacement battery I have no idea what I did

Just Google PSP cfw (custom firmware) and follow a guide for your system.

There are guides still available on KZfaq. I did this myself last year and it's a cool novelty, however it's not the best way to play the games as it will drain the battery very quickly.

@@Xelamorph67why does it drain it
@Xelamorph672 ай бұрын
@The_Sphinx-22 not sure tbh, I just noticed that the battery went down way faster when I was playing Pokemon Yellow than it would if I played a native PSP game.
