Man i absolutely love the new Charizard but i haven’t pulled it. I did pull the full art blastoise and absolutely love it

Haven’t collected Pokémon cards for about 15 years, this set has definitely got me back into it and I’ve fallen in love again!!

My fiancé and I have just started our journey in collecting Pokémon cards. We were massive fans back in the 90s and early 2000s but eventually we graduated onto other things. Now we are returning, we didn’t realise how big the community is and how much pokemon has developed! Dragonite will always be my favourite.

Wow that is amazing. It’s cool you even got the promos and the different holo energy cards. I didn’t even know there was a different print of the energies. I just got back into Pokémon after many years. You’re right, the nostalgia is real. I got rid of my old cards when I was in addiction. But I’m a few years sober now. It brings me so much joy collecting cards again especially with this set, where it all started. I’m still working on my set. Slow and steady. It was really cool seeing all the cards together here. Thanks for showing. Im sure you’re proud. Congrats on completing the set and congrats to over 500 subs! 🥳 also thanks for giving away a poke center etb! Lol that’s so awesome! Oh man this takes me back. I had collected about 80 of the original 151 in around 1999-2000 and was one of those unfortunate cases where my parent tossed my folder full of cards away without me knowing haha. Good to see that people are still chasing those master sets. Awesome!

Just started working on master sets about 3 months ago after getting back into the hobby after a 20 year hiatus. I love your content and am thankful to have found it! Looking forward to Paradox Rift!

Sick set my dude, nothing more satisfying that sifting through a master set binder 👌

It’s an amazing set. I haven’t had Pokémon cards since the Brushfire and Zap! sets over 20 years ago. So far I’ve opened the poster, binder and ETB sets. 16 packs in and my best pull was 196 & 203 Erika’s invitation back to back in the same pack. My favourite card so far is Illustrated Psyduck as my first pull above rare (took until my 7th pack). I have the UPC, all 10 mini tins and Alakazam and Zapdos on order and then I’ll start on the singles. Charmander was my favourite starter but my chase card this collection is Ivysaur, that secret illustration rare is beautiful!

Squirtle was the OG starter for me, but honestly I've been drinking a lot of the Bulbasaur koolaid as of late! So glad they did my smol plant boy justice, and unsurprisingly I liked the Venusaur SIR art the most! Really enjoyed this set and plan to keep as much sealed product as I reasonably can so I can share them with family and close friends down the line. Thank you for sharing your master set, and huge congrats on 500+ subs friend :-)

Out of the original 151, farfetch’d is probably my favorite, I was hoping he’d get an illustrator rare card for this set, but the ones we got were fantastically around. The card I was most excited to pull was probably the charizard SIR, despite being such an over saturated mon, I was very surprised when I pulled it considering the bad luck I was having with 151 and also relieved that I didn’t have to go and spend $100+ on it later down the road for my master set. With how beautiful this set is and videos like yours, it made me want to collect my first master set and I’m proud to say that I’m close to completing it!

Gotta say Arcanine just hits different for me, I collected 1st/2nd/3rd gen as a kid and sadly sold it all when I was much younger. When XY Evolutions came out I picked up quite a bit of English and Japanese of that...best nostalgia trip ever. Kept a booster box of both languages for me to open with my kid one day. When I saw they were dropping 151 I picked up a fresh Vaultx binder and started cracking packs, still have some secret rares I need to pull to complete the set. Thanks for going over the Master Set here awesome to see.

Love seeing the master set for this collection the nostalgia is unreal. I bought a ETB box and some boosters but had to stop to put focus on Lorcana for now. Gotta love the satisfaction from opening these hits or not.

Very nice! I've completed one myself. I agree with you that the energies count. Heck, they were actually numbered as part of the first few sets back in the day. I did not know there were two versions of the Reverse Holo Energies. Thank you! I need to go through my extra cards now. I would say, you're missing 6 promos. The three starters from the Poster Collection, the Zapdos and Alakazam from their respective box product; and one could argue the Snorlax from Pokemon Center (the only one I myself am missing). They may be the same art as the reg. cards in the set, but they do have a "Promo" mark on them and are numbered differently. Oh, and you should have a regular version of each energy too ... IMHO. I guess I'm just one of those 'ultra' completionists. ^_^b

Well made video of this master set! Originally my chase was the Charizard SIR but fell in love with the art on the Venasaur SIR and Zapdos SIR! The small forest details around the Venasaur and the Zapdos with the Moltres and Articuno the background made them my favorite pulls!

So cool! I didn’t know the holo energies could be different! For me my favorite pull was Wartortle!! The full art was so beautiful! It really looks like the light is shining through the water. ❤

I love it , the only diference I did was adding a van goth pikachu release almost at the same time to promos at the end ,lucky to grab one early with a mug from ebay now is crazy xD

They all look nice in the binder. Such a fun set. Always liked the big 3 charizard, blastoise, venusaur and mewtwo. Grew up with pokemon yellow.

Bulbasaur has always been my favorite little mon since I got into Pokemon as a kid, this set got me back into collecting the cards again and motivated me to complete my first master set! I'm very close just missing quite a bit of the SIR's! Really appreciate your channel since it has been a big motivator to complete this set! Keep up the great content on catching them all!

I havent collected Pokémon Cards since probably Gen 4 and now this set has brought me back into it. I have some chase cards but if I had the financial means for it would totally also try to create a master set. I love how some less popular or unexpected Pokémon got some sick cards too.

Very cool, I am working on it as well. Ty for explaining the difference energy cards I was unsure what the deal was there. My favorites were the charizard and blastoise lines, the alakazam sir was really cool as well and always a staple of my team in the games.

This was pretty cool to stumble upon, nice work collecting everything in the set! Haven't got around to opening this yet because I'm still working on Silver Tempest, but if I had to pick a favorite from the original 151 - it would be Porygon, for sure.

I just started trying for this set over the weekend. Precisely because I cannot find Lorcana. But I really like it. Hoping to set it side by side with the OG Gen 1 cards I collected as a kid.

My fav pokemon i got excited to pul was SIR zapdos , the way it introduce Zapdos soaring in the sky really makes them look majestics as legendary pokemon

Super cool video! I just found my old 1999 pokemon cards recently. It was so nostalgic and brought back so many memories from playing, collecting, and watching the show. I just started collecting again and chose obsidian flames to start with. Should have started with 151. I haven't opened any 151 packs yet, but I plan on it. It's a beautiful set! Mewtwo was my old favorite. Never pulled a charizard, but maybe I'll get lucky this time! You got a sub from me brotha 👍

I added the Alakazam and Zapdos promos because they are slightly different. Also added the Snorlax from the Pokémon center ETB because it has that special stamp on it

I really like this set. It got me back into collecting. Pulling the Demi god charmander set was super exciting for me. I was most looking forward to having a chance to collect them all. I just completed the 1-165. Now to finish up the remaining cards in the set :)

Even though Tangela isn't my favorite, he's an iconic looking pokemon. I remember seeing it as a kid and thinking it was weird and cool. It was sort of my favorite first pokemon. I actually fell in love with him all over again recently because of a fanart someone made. Also the fact that he's sonic colors and has the cute red shoes gets me. The art for his card in this set is really neat and crisp and cute and I was happy to get one!

I’ve enjoyed your master set videos a lot. First one I watched I believe was SV base set, but always enjoy seeing the complete set in a binder. Charizard is always going to slap when it’s in a set, but I think my favorite card from 151 is actually the SIR Alakazam. It just hits different, and I was lucky enough for my wife to pull it!

All the illustration rares look amazing but the Pikachu IR has to be my favourite so much detail and all the Pokémon in the background!

First time seeing your channel and absolutely love the set you’ve built. You have inspired me to try this myself. I’ve never done a master set before, but Red/Blue was my generation, so it looks like such a good set to collect. Bought myself the Mew Binder collection today and managed to pull the artwork rare Charizard which I am buzzing about. My favourite card in the set is definitely the Omanyte art rare though, love my fossil Pokémon 🙌

Didn't know about the two different holo Energy patterns, thanks for letting us know. I'm curious why you didn't put the Alakazam ex and Zapdos ex Promos in it? Unfortunately, I can't get the startes variants here in europe.
