He was actually pretty close with weezing. He said that it’s pure air, which is kinda close to what the trailer said. It’s smokestacks release purified air which makes it a fairy type instead of flying type.

well in order to get a machamp u need to trade a machoke which means machamp will be owned by a trainer so snorlax isn’t likely to encounter one in the wild

And it would probably have to become a little bit thinner because the loch ness monster is most likely pretty thin based on the "picture" of it. The reason behind that could be it had to become smaller to fit in lakes easier.

What about an ice-type decidueye based off of a snowy owl? It drops the grass-type for ice type, but keeps the ghost type. It keeps ghost since snowy owls are particularly good hunters that don't make much noise when they hunt because of their wing structure, a quality similar to that of ghosts. I don't know just an idea.

Every Generation adds some kind of new battle related gimmick. Also, they'd have to do some retconning in order to make Z-Moves plot revelvant again outside of an Sun and Moon remake.

Wouldn't it make more sense that the pure flying type Koffing would be the original Koffing and the strain that is a poison type learned how to cope with increased pollution And even thrive off it making it an extremely beneficial trait because it now has the ablility to not just attack with air, but attack with polluted air so even if the koffing dies (or faints) the enemy pokemon will still have taken damage

The steel type for torkoal fits even better because in Sheffield was the first ever place to create steel wich led to stainless steel, a steel that never rusts

Some stuff I would like to see - 1. A pure bug Durant and a normal type Heatmor. The retypes aren't an improvment gameplay-wise, but I like the idea of there being an isolated region where Durant never evolved steel typing to ward off Heatmor, and therefore Heatmor never became a fire type either. You could give them some good signature moves/ abilities to make up for the weaker types. 2. A bug/ground Golisopod. Basically the same thing as before, but sort of like a sand shark/scorpion version. 3. A bug/dark type Drapion and scorupi- Conceptually this would be a region where Drapion and Scorupi live as kleptoparasites in Durant nests. Instead of producing poison, they would use the poison glands to produce pheromones to fool the Durants into accepting their presence in the nest and taking care of them. 4. Reuniclus and its prevolutions as a Psychic/Bug retype. In this region, Reuniclus takes its prexisting psychic communication lore a step further, with them living in nests and being social like ants, except using psychic rather than chemical means of communication. As a take on this, I image the Duosions as being the analog of the "queens," sitting inside the nests and reproducing, with Reuniclus, the most powerful stage, being like the "soldiers" and defending the nest from invaders, and the Solosis being like the "workers," who mostly maintain the nest with their psychic powers. These guys would have more insectoid traits, like compound eyes, and a design more reminiscent of an insect embryo, maybe even with a reference to Drosophila embryos, with markings deliminating the various Hox genes.

I recently came up with the idea to have a Grass/Rock type Galish Squirtle. The Grass typing comes about because of the Squirtle finding themselves in a more forested area (similarly to your Galish Donphan), while Rock is gained because of the terrain being more rugged and mountainous. Their shells would become more armored, and the spikes would help with keeping predators at bay. Honestly, I find Ice to be a more likely secondary typing, partially because of Dreadnaw already being part Rock, but also because we've seen that Galar has a LOT of snowy areas.

The most snowy areas are actually not overcast at all. That’s why they’re sometimes referred to as cold deserts - it never rains/snows.
