Xerneas: The beauty of life itself. Yveltal: Bringer of death and destruction. Zygarde: Hanging out alone in a deep, desolate cavern system (Rip Pokémon Z version).

I think I’ve found an interesting observations on Zygarde. I think it is somewhat a reference to the lovecraftian god Yig which is called the God of Snakes. The reference comes from when someone harm a snake. No matter where you are, the proprietor will fall to the wrath of Yig itself (usually thru a curse by turning you to a snake or just being killed by the god.) The same situation applies to Zygarde as his pokedex entry in pokemon sun said that he will destroy anyone who opposes it mercilessly without a second thought. Nonetheless that obvious reason is the destruction of the large portions of ecosystem regardless of who did it. Zygarde and Yig have similarities as well, both have children’s of their own, the Zygarde cells counts as a reference to Yig’s children the snakes because the cells are sentient beings with one origin (or a part) of the zygarde complete form, while Yig has the snakes as his progenitors. Whatever harm happens to their children will experience the wrath of these creatures wherever you are nor friend or foe alike. Lastly they do have both humanoid forms as well.

*Enters the coal mine and sprays repel* eh, I'm guessing that so called "monster" isn't too vicious. *going around battling opponents* It's probably no more than just an angry rampardos. *starts breaking boulders that are in the way* It can't be TOO bad could it? *enters the last den and sees a giant black and green snake* HOLY!

I truly wish that Xerneas was Fairy/Grass so that the typings would be balanced.

And BTW, I beat the entire Y game using only Fire pokemon. I used my Shiny Charizard Y that i bred on my X game, the event Blaziken, Delphox, Torkoal, and Talonflame. (I also brought a Zweilous through the elite 4 so i could evolve it, but it didn't actually battle.)

This is one of the few legendary themes that I feel like gets the "weight" of the respective correctly. Yveltal & Xerneas are the embodiment of death and life. That's a heavy concepts to put in any game, & unfortunately X & Y didn't do it justice. But at least we have this theme providing some gravitas.

I don't know if there is a legendary theme that isn't the most climatic thing i've ever heard. And this for sure isn't an exception.

X and Y were hinting at the Hoenn remakes with the Legendaries. Yveltal is red, Xerneas is blue, and both are mascot Pokemon and version-exclusive. Zygarde, which is green, is available in both versions, and serves as a counter to both Yveltal and Xerneas. Sounds awfully familiar, don't you think?

This battle theme is so fucking epic! When Yveltal attacked me I thought "Victory or death!" because Yveltal has the ability to take one's life...:P By the way: Is there anyone else who thinks that Zygarde will become more important one day (and/or wants this)?

Yveltal:Groudon Zygarde:Rayquaza Xerneas:Kyogre.. Can't you see that their simular.. Yveltal creates destuction... Groudon has the same color and can cause world destruction Zygarde and Rayquaza are just snakes... Xerneas and Kyogre kinda... Are just the same color?

Pokémon Y makes way more sense because Yelveltal's aura causes destruction, while Xerneas' aura does exactly the opposite. So it seems Xerneas' aura condradicts the fact that Team Flare wants it's power to destroy...

I remember when I tried to catch Zygarde I forgot to bring ultra balls and only had 20, but I also had a single poke ball Almost all ultra balls are gone. I notice I have no chance of catching it, but then I through the poke ball... for the lols Wiggle 1 Wiggle 2 Wiggle 3 Catch... I am done with these catch rates..

When I played pokemon black, I caught a tornadus in a pokeball and the only thing keeping it from fleeing was a level 50 ariados with spider web. Took a long time but it was worth it

I think the xerneas/yveltal battle was easy but the zygarde battle was a pain in the ass

This is one where whenever I listen to it, and I'm playing Pokemon X, my Quilava (named Chewshoe, of course, and he's level 100) goes into a stage where he's in a total bro-mode and brutally murdering everything in his path.
