Nope that would be stupid. It would if anything ruin sportsmanship because imagine losing a million dollars to a person just because they got a lucky fucking crit. That's way too much money, even six figures is a lot. Honestly the current numbers are decent, although they could be bigger by another 10k. Especially because in reality the current amount of money they give to the world champs is enough to actually pay for a year of living since the amount they give tends to be roughly twice the amount average minimum wage employees earn per year and the event happened yearly, so if you do work somewhere like subway or McDonald's or Asda/Walmart etc, they can actually nicely treat themselves to more cool things now after winning, or honestly even just spend that on a lot of fun stuff instantly either way the current amount is enough honestly. Especially because they also pay the losing participants money just simply lowers for every place. And that makes sense it costs a lot to get to world's so even if you lose, if you get 2nd or 3rd place you should get paid a bit because to get to Worlds you need to travel a lot which costs a lot of money because you need to get into many smaller Regionals to build up Points.
