The $200 tin isn't actually such a gamble. If you look at the bottom line with the year on it, the last identifier is the "k16" code. K16 means 2016 repack. Yours had the k16 on the bottom! The true 2014 tins don't have the code.

Came here to say this! Can confirm I have a couple sets of the older tins with 2 furious fists, 1 flashfire, and 1 plasma blast and the tin says 2014 with no “k”

The Keldeo EX tin was the first ever tin I opened and I think it’s very underrated.

I took Pokémon cards for granted in the late 90s. I look when I’m at the store but I can never find even one pack !! The way PokeRev peaks at us during the opening always gets me 😂

Well i can honestly say the 500 tin is well worth it and ill be trying to find one for that price . you pulled 700 worth of packs from the tin itself so its value in contents is worth more than its purchase price ! Love that 💛

@@JP-rg1yj I'm sure you could find the packs for a little less but even if the packs sold for 150 each the value of the tins still 600 but I can see after this video the price is going up on the tins it would only make sense now knowing the contents inside

$50 tin was the best if we're going for bang vs buck. You can get both Lugia Legends cards for under 250 on ebay. Although I bet if you had both Lugia Legends cards in PSA`10 then it would be very high in price. I wonder if there is even a single person who owns both in PSA 10s The true value of the older tins is pretty bad. Or I guess it just depends on how much you value nostalgia of opening older packs

Lol, I own the 500 Doller Tin x'D (But it's not seald anymore but it's open so not really 500 Doller :'D) I actually also have the Typhlosion and the Feraligatr one X'D I also have the 200 Doller Tin (opened so not worth 200 Dollers now XD) and I have the Keldeo Tin, aswell :'D Oh and I have the 50 Doller Charizard Tin, aswell XD (Funny thing is inside the Charizard Box I pulled a Charizard Fullart card from one of the Boosters :'D So I had the Promo Fullart and the Booster Fullart one XD) I just realized I own and opened every single Box from this video XD It's so weird that all these Tins that I payed between 19,99€-23,99€ each are so expensive now :'D I'm glad I bought them when they were new XD Also I feel old now :'D The HG/SS and Platinum Packs really bring back memories XD I have bought so many of the packs back in 2011 :'D Back then they were reduced and I was able to buy Platinum packs fpr 1€ and HG/SS packs for 2,50€ XD (Best time to collect cards :D)
