Garchomp was terrifying, but it was Milotic that took the longest to beat. I only survived thanks to my Snorlax countering it perfectly: high sp def to counter Milotic's attacks while having high attack to hit its weaker defence, plus leftovers to match its healing. Even with Belly Drum and Strength I couldn't one shot it, but eventually I wore it down until it couldn't heal anymore.

Hearing everyone think Cyrus was easy feels bad, when his Honchkrow crit my entire team.

Something that surprised me in my Pearl nuzlocke was how much of an MVP my Roserade would be in the fight against Cynthia. Roserade managed to take out her Spiritomb, Gastrodon and Milotic.

Animated Pokemon Nuzlockes: A Poketuber's best friend.

My first Nuzlocke ever was Diamond blind and I lost my Floatzel to the fire elite four member because his freaking Rapidash had a GRASS move! I literally screamed “THAT’S ILLEGAL!!”

I lowkey like the power of friendship mechanic especially in a nuzlocke. Maybe its because i like to come up with stories along the way and having a pokemon that was supposed to die survive on a sliver of health especially if they get the beat the thing that tried to kill them is the most anime thing ever.

For me, the whole point of a nuzlocke is NOT having your pokemon die. So if friendship can help keep that from happening, I'm all for it!

To be fair, most first nuzlockes die at like the third or fourth gym, right around when everything switches from non-evolved to fully evolved...

Geodude is a very good encounter in Nuzlocke’s. Amazing defense and electric immunity. Fantastic encounter

still don't understand why everyone says Cynthia's Garchomp was so hard to beat. i had WAY MORE trouble with her Milotic. I destroyed her Garchomp with a Dustox, a DUSTOX, in like three hits. :|

I just saw this video's thumbnail (the one your reacting to) a few minutes ago and was thinking of watching it again, what perfect timing dude. Also, I am kinda the same.....I barely played Diamond (when I was a kid, I only reached and beaten the rock type gyme, then never really touched it again cause I didn't know how to save at the time, and when I did want to play it recently, it was already lost), I never even played Pearl nor Platinum (but I have seen of those games on KZfaq) , so my real first experience of Sinnoh was with Brilliant Diamond.

Bronzong was key to my Shinning Pearl Playthrough. it learned Rain Dance and I used that in tandem with Floatzel's Swift Swim to use Ice Fang on Cynthia's Garchomp. I wouldnt have won without Bronzong.

Hippowdon should not have been sent out against spirtomb Spirtomb has will o wisp and is a lot weaker to rapidash which is immune to spirtomb and so could flare blitz it into oblivion. Save the hippo for garchomp, use it’s high defence to tank hits then counter with ice fangs As for frisbee use it against milotic and try your best to stall it out with toxic or something

I dont know about you Patterz but im require to have friendship on my team especically going up against the elite 4 and Cynthia. Cause A. I care for my Pokemon that train and level up and B. I want to challenge with a team that isnt so obvious to play through with like Grachomp,Staraptor,Lucario etc. Here was my team in my Nuzlocke i ran with: Infernape,Golduck,Wormadam,Altaria,Pachirisu and Lickylicky. Let me see you beat the game with this team in your next Nuzlocke Patterz!

To be fair though because of the elite 4 and cynthia bdsp is one of the hardest game to nuzlocke for a first timer especially if your going in blind.
