Pokey LaFarge, musician and songwriter from Bloomington (Illinois) has released his new and eleventh studio album, Rhumba Country, recorded in Los Angeles and Chicago and produced by Pokey himself, with with Chris Seefried (Anderson East, Fitz And The Tantrums) and Elliot Bergman. The American artist says: “There was a time when I glorified sadness because I lost sight of who I was, but now I understand that creating and expressing joy is my gift, and gifts are meant to be shared.”
