Salt Mines: The Wieliczka Salt Mine, located near Kraków, is one of the oldest salt mines in the world and has been in operation for over 700 years. It is renowned for its underground chambers, chapels, and sculptures carved entirely out of salt by miners.
Crooked Forest: Located near Gryfino in western Poland, the Crooked Forest is a grove of around 400 pine trees with a mysterious 90-degree bend at their base. The reason behind their uniform curvature remains a subject of debate and speculation.
Polish Cuisine: Poland has a rich culinary tradition, with dishes such as pierogi (dumplings), bigos (hunter's stew), and żurek (sour rye soup) being staples of Polish cuisine. It is also known for its delicious pastries and desserts like paczki (filled doughnuts) and szarlotka (apple pie).
Amber Capital: Poland is one of the world's largest producers of amber, a fossilized tree resin prized for its beauty and used in jewelry and decorative items. The city of Gdańsk, located on the Baltic coast, is known as the "Amber Capital" and hosts an annual Amberif fair.
Copernicus: Nicolaus Copernicus, the Renaissance astronomer best known for proposing the heliocentric model of the solar system, was born in Toruń, Poland. His groundbreaking work revolutionized our understanding of the universe.
Polish Folklore: Poland has a rich tradition of folklore and superstitions, with mythical creatures like the żmij (dragon), bies (demon), and dziwożona (forest spirit) featuring prominently in Polish mythology. Traditional folk customs and festivals are still celebrated across the country.
Białowieża Forest: Białowieża Forest, straddling the border between Poland and Belarus, is one of the last and largest remaining parts of the primeval forest that once covered much of Europe. It is home to the European bison, Europe's heaviest land animal.
These untold facts offer a glimpse into the diverse history, culture, and natural wonders of Poland, making it a fascinating destination for travelers and explorers.

My partner is from Poland so I know a bit about the language. I think the "i" you're referring to is ł which is pronounced like "w" in the word "was" in English. The "c" you refer to could be ç which is pronounced as an "s" if I'm not mistaken. I could be wrong though lol 😅 I tried my best
