Great vid, Dave! (And no background music is much appreciated!) Unless I missed it, no one in the comments section has yet mentioned the elephant in the room.....suspension geometry. Any sxs with rear radius rods will cause the rear tires to get closer to and farther from each other (known as track width scrub) as the rear wheels go up and down. At high speed in the rough stuff, that can cause the rear of the car to be very squirrelly. The Speed car's rear suspension geometry with beefy trailing arms and no radius rods results in essentially zero track width scrub. That translates to a smoother, more controlled ride especially at high speed in the rough stuff. Also, the inner pivot points on the Speed car's trailing arms are mounted lower than the outer pivot points. That causes the rear of the Speed car to hunker down when a lateral load is applied (eg, when turning the car) rather than experiencing the pole vaulting effect that happens with cars with rear radius rods which leads to a propensity for the car to roll. So the Speed car is safer because it is much less likely to roll as compared to other suspension geometry designs.

@@motorcyclestig8539 If pro R have an factory turbo I will buy one, but I saw them run in the sand at 5K elevation and they simply sucks. But I am pretty sure mav R , because of turbo they will be great there, just don't saw one yet.

You keep talking about seeing the "bead" of the weld.... While ill admit that the speed welds look much cleaner, WAY less undercut and much more uniformed and consistent weld; your use of the word "bead" is annoying af lol. What you are referring to is called the "dime stack" and makes ZEROOOO difference on the integrity of the weld. RZR does what is called "stringer welds" which is just straight passes. Speed does a "mig-like-tig weld" which causes that rippled look, which so many people ignorantly think that means its a stronger weld. Its not... In fact if you ask most any shipyard/structural welder they will tell you a stringer weld is the stronger weld. Now years of research now have shown us that a "mig-like-tig" method CAN be just as strong if done right. But neither is better then the other in terms of integrity. Let me finish though with saying that in THIS instance, the speeds welds look SIGNIFICANTLY stronger and had much better penetration, NOT because of their puddle manipulation method, but instead because of the amount of heat, wire speed, and the rate at which they moved their squirt gun. Judging by their bead width id be willing to bet that the speeds tubing wall thickness is a whole lot thicker then Rzr's.

Pro r has navigation, electronic suspension, engine modes, bullet proof inline4 motor that doesn't sound like a lawnmower like the speed and the pro r has endless amounts of aftermarket accessories for it so your ride doesn't look like everyone else's because everytime I see a speed they all look the same and I have yet to see a rzr look the same unless it's a Troy Lee designs people aren't really doing much to those and also the speed car is owned, built and tested in commie countries like China and veitnam. I'll take my navigation and electronic suspension alday and like I said the speed sounds like a lawnmower. I like how you down played the ride command and talked up the speed cluster lol does robby make you drink Kool aid before buying a speed!? Btw the speed looks like a el Camino 😂

@nathandowns369 speed has had so many cars break down out of the small amount of cars they have made its hilarious and the old rzrs caught fire the pro r and turbo r haven't. They cages are cheap because they are mass produced cars they aren't making less than 1000 like robby and the car is still better. The pro r has ride command. Electronic suspension, engine mods, 4cylinder engine that doesn't sound like a lawnmower both desert sxs and chupacabra have both cars and they still say the pro r is leaps and bounds over the speed. Desert sxs said the speed doesn't even compare to the pro r mav r.

@@motorcyclestig8539 first rzr and can ams had a lot of issues too. There's no excuse for a 45k car to come with a junk cage, mass produced or not. They've had 16 years to get to where they are now and have a 4 cylinder. Speed will catch up and pass them soon
