Polaris should make rzr 400 4 seater for kids

The price point on the base 170 RZR is about 2 or 3K too much for what you actually get. The one I purchased for my daughter was around 4300 bucks before tax when she was 6. She has had it for over 4 years now and really enjoys it, but it's just too much in my opinion for being a modern go-cart with some plastic body wrappings. I wish they had made them like the black one on here when I had gotten hers....the dash is what it should be for the base price as is the rest of the upgrades. Whoever runs Polaris isn't losing any money selling these at the price they do.....playing on the weaker parents that spoil their kids. Nice video too by the way to show what's up with what's out!

SSR is a top notch brand that not everyone knows about

I like the looks and features of the SSR much better, too bad it doesn't have the same pep! But I bet you can make an intake and fab up a barkers exhaust and that'll fix it right up!! lol

I would like a ssr but I'd swap out the motor for something bigger maybe even see if I could put a 4x4 quad engine in it 😅

me to as well, I think they both have pretty much same power, the Polaris is just lighter so it get up and goes a little quicker, I would choose ssr especially being the popo cost over 1000 extra

Have you replaced the drive belt on the ssr? Is it difficult? I'm wondering if I should purchase a owner's manual or not.

one other big plus on the SSR imo is the rear cargo are I forgot to mention, nice for my kid to haul stuff around.

Hey thanks for the info...Just picked up a 2017 SSR 170 new was still sitting on shelf for $2,500 out the door .... so will see how it goes! Should be fun for the kids.

The Polaris is made in Tiawan and not by Polaris. It is an off brand just like the Chinese made SSR. Polaris only put the stickers on it. . SSR will be cheaper and have the same dependability. Dealers should inform buyers about this but they don't because most would be smart and just buy the SSR because it is the same machine and cheaper. Polaris is pulling a fast one on the public.

Very poor comparison !, should be stating both machines are Asian based, Polaris is built in Taiwan, looks like crap compared to the SSR, Polaris with no taillights, brake lights, no speedometer, no gas gauge and still costs 3 times the SSR !! WTF.
