Whether you've decided to upgrade to a beefier axle because of riding demands or you just need to replace the stock component, the job of replacing axles will probably need to be done at some point over the course of owning your machine. In this video we show the proper steps for installing the front axles on this 2019 Polaris RZR XP 4 1000. The steps shown here will be very similar for all RZR XP 1000 and Turbo models. How did you get the brake pads apart so you could slide the caliper all the way down on the rotor? You just show you instantly on the rotor and tightening it up????

The clip on the axle that holds it in the diff broke. When I replace axle should I be worried about the clip prices in the front diff. And or how can I get them out?

What do you do if you pull the axle out of the joint?

Carefully put it back together. Hopefully you didnt bend the C-clip.

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zs2dl72G3MvSfYE.html If it isnt coming out hit the side of the cup when you have the strap a tight as you can get it. It does take some work. Wrap the tuck the strap in under the cup the best you can and wrap twice.

What if the axle is frozen into the diff and a slide hammer won’t do the job?

What did you end up doing? I did the slide hammer action and pulled the axle out from the joint!

DONT DO THIS!!!! CAUTION DONT DO THIS CAUTION!!!!!! I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY! More times than not you will pull your CV joint apart! If it is frozen in then look up how to pull it with a ratchet strap. A secret for you. When you get the strap tight as hell. Hit the cup that is stuck one the side with a hammer and it should pop out!
