Nice tests. Even though these were posted ~20 months ago, when I was not considering the Sportsman S, now I am. These tests, and suggested upgrades are very helpful. I own a 2015 Sportsman 1000 and 2011 Can Am 800 XXC. Ordinarily, I'd select a 2023 Can Am 1000. But several factors favor the 'S'. 1) I have a set of Mattracks, once used on a 2009 Sportsman. But my 2015 Sportsman has the damn muffler located in the right rear wheel well. The 'S' will not have fit issues. 2) Even a 48" wide Polaris has a better suspension than Can Am for the rocky terrain so common in western states. 3) I have Camoplast tracks for the Can Am XXC. So, selecting the 'S' will enable tracking two quads.

And I'd still prefer a 330 Polaris 2 stroke from the 90s trail boss😪
@surajraikar99463 жыл бұрын
Guys I have the 2020 polaris sportsman 1000s. And believe me thats 10 times better than the scrambler. Looks, performance, added accessories loading and towing capacities even from the storage space. I have smashed 500meters dunes over here in dubai, without going full throttle. Just upgrade it with a K&N air filter, and trinity stage 5 duals. Thats it

Good input! We're split on which one we like best, but we explain that in the next video
@surajraikar99463 жыл бұрын
@@dirtobsexxionvlogs4892 I have also changed the tires from 27duro, to 30 bighorn all 9inches wide. zero upgrade to the clutch, the bike glides likes a Desert Sniper filled with venom. just compress the spring and get the bike 4 inches height, zero squirt or bottom . But ya Beadlock rims a MUST. I chose Alba Baja Crusher , the rims are the best for the price, and unbeatable.

How exciting to have a fan in Dubai! We have a building project coming in a couple of months on the Sportsman 1000. Click that little bell icon next to the Subscribe button in case you're interested in checking it out. It should be a pretty awesome build.

Why pit a Scrambler against an Outlander? Why not Scrambler and Renegade?
@ATVonDemand3 жыл бұрын
Good question. First, we don't think the performance is that dramatically different between the Renegade and the Outlander, although we plan on finding out for sure soon. We originally planned on using the Outlander because we didn't have a Renegade when we laid out the series. We are planning on doing a Renegade test in the coming weeks and didn't want to get out Renegade all dirty prior to filming its stock test. To satisfy everyone's curiosity as to how the Renegade and Scrambler S will stack up, we will be doing a slightly more formal head to head comparison in the future. Hopefully you receive notifications when we put up new videos.

scrambler with hmf exhaust and fuel calibration and outlander is still faster. this is funny.
@dirtobsexxionvlogs48923 жыл бұрын
No, the Scrambler is stock. We were referring to previous tests.. The Outlander is faster stock vs stock though. No doubt in our minds about that..

How DARE you recklessly ride that quad with your beard dangling in the wind! Do you realize if it got caught up in the wheels you would blow the belt, strip the gears and grenade the engine! Come on guys...grow up!

Maybe we need to institute some sort of maximum beard length policy. I will have to check in with the know it alls at the CPSC and see if they have any suggestions on how to protect ourselves.

Polaris does have the ace models. That’s basically what they are, an atv with a roll cage, cup holders and steering wheel and car controls instead of handlebars.

Why do you compare machines that have been modified??????? Test them stock so the results are more applicable. Derrrrrrrrrr
@ATVonDemand3 жыл бұрын
This was not an official shootout, it was more or less just a comparison to document the differences. Do you really think that adding beadlock wheels and different tires to the Scrambler made that big of a difference in overall performance? Well it didn't. Try not to be so snarky it's not becoming. Your input would go much further that way.
@davidh13143 жыл бұрын
@@ATVonDemand Sorry if I offended you, but that wasn't snarky, it was a legitimate question. If you're going to be a KZfaqr, you'll need to be less sensitive. I actually like your channel and videos. You reacted as if I attacked you personally. It wasn't a micro-aggression, it was comment. I can't believe you treat your customers/followers like that.

@@davidh1314 You didn't offend him, believe me... He was sticking up for me because I'm his buddy and employee... You would have had a legitimate question had left the long Derrrr out.. But you made that gesture to insinuate that we were retarded. Had you simply asked we would have told you we added beadlocks because we felt they should have come stock and we planned on pushing the machine harder than our normal tests. We couldn't get Duro's in 14s in time because of covid, and GBC got the Dirt Commanders to us immediately.. The rest of the machine is stock
