I named my daughter after Emmylou in 1997 and she is also now a very gifted singer. I grew up lying on the floor with her record albums and admiring her beauty on the cover while melting to her voice as a young child. Carefree days.

Just discovered this tonight having never heard of them before, but been a fan of Emmylou for many years. Now at the age of 72, I am in tears at this beautiful music and can't stop playing it. Well done girls, the singing is amazing and the music is awesome - my tears are of happiness at such REAL music. You now have another fan - maybe your oldest!?

Especially Gram Parsons, her former duet partner and very dear friend who died tragically of a drug overdose at a very young age. And all their times past. Incredible times. What a tribute these girls have given to her, to the other three legends in the song, and to the world. What a gift. Beautiful. ❤️

I don't think EmmyLou ever got over losing Gram Parsons. She couldn't hide her tears on this song. I am so impressed with First Aid Kit! These sisters are super talented. So glad they got to sing this song for her.

Man, they wrote these lyrics at 14. So articulate and well thought through, so "grown up"... from Sweden and have been a fan for a long time but I didn't know the back story for this song.

That was a beautiful song and Emmylou Harris is such a pure class act. Nice to see some new young people who can write and sing a proper country song that isn't about a 4x4 down at the crik, drinking beers.
