alright so this is a list of mistakes you should ignore💀 #1: william was not 4 years old in 1942, he was actually 3, thanks to the person who pointed it out and #2: i just realized that evan did not die on his birthday, he died a few days later in the hospital, so his deathdate is wrong as well 🤡🤡🤡🤡 #3: mrs. afton would be 6/7 not 8 in 1946 😭😭 istg my math is failing me #4. fact 25 is not true anymore, i found a different reason that makes more sense as to why mike has nightmares about nightmare fredbear

3:14 Yk putting William as the youngest in the family with his you know what personality actually makes sense. No offense to those who are the youngest in their families, but I've heard from my place that the youngest, especially the ones that were born from 35 and up mother isn't normal...(I'm sorry-) They are either a gifted individual, or there's something wrong with their heads, it can also be both, and William *has both.* Good AU!

Fact: if your William (i believe so as well), and Mrs. Afton were born in 1939, that means they both have experienced WW2.

yes! i was actually trying to possibly figure out ways that the war had affected their families, maybe it would be a fun thing for me to do :)

@@polaroid_ I've always wished more people would explore that aspect of things, I think it would make for an interesting part of your AU. Along with the war obviously impacting his family as a whole, maybe you could say that William himself was slightly traumatised by experiencing the Bliz (German bombing of Britain), since if we're going by the Canon lore here, William is British and so would've grown up in Britain during WW2. Just an idea of mine.

Also since we're talking about WW2. Fun fact: Elizabeth's death day is only one day after Operation Barbarossa (German Invasion of Soviet Union), which was on June 22nd. Just thought it would've been quite the symbolic coincidence if she died on the same day that so many others did in the past.

@@polaroid_About my suggestion for William: It would either have to be sometime in 1944 or 1945 where he would be traumatised, since before at least 1943 he would be too young to remember anything much (since he was born in 1939), and after a few months into 1945, the German bombings stopped. You can also apply this to Mrs Afton if you wanted to do the same thing with her backstory.

@@polaroid_ Idk how I didn't think of this one before, but if William was traumatised by German bombings during WW2, than perhaps he would hold a grudge against Germans in general. And since in your AU Fritz has German heritage and a German name, this could be another reason as to why William chose to murder Fritz as one of the missing children.

an au stands for “alternate universe” and is somebody’s own interpretation of a story, so that would mean somebody makes their own version of a story so it isnt canon cc afton is the crying child in fnaf 4
