In this video basic terminologies related to AC armature winding like coil, conductor, coil side, front pitch, back pitch, pole pitch, coil pitch, etc. are explained for basic understanding of the main topic.
The video focuses on full pitch & short pitch winding and its effect on EMF induced in armature. Pitch factor is explained for a short pitched winding.

Peace be upon you. I was not satisfied rather struggling to understand concepts while going through the theory line by line without visualizing things. I badly needed this typo video to actually know what is happening practically. Finally got your video. Thanks a lot for making these things clear totally.

Hello sir Trust you're doing great. I'm currently trying to do a DIY rewinding on my stator generator but it's confusing My generator initial winding is a single phase with 30 slots 4 poles and I'm trying to rewind it to 3phase Please how can I divide and space the slot to make it work
@jimitkshukla
@jimitkshukla 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I am doing great. Thanks. Sorry it is difficult for me to provide a solution for that. Contact someone who has experience in motor rewinding. I teach concepts of Electrical Engineering. I have never done rewinding of an actual motor. I guess you will find some KZfaq videos showing how to rewind motors which may be helpful to you.
