Miami-Dade police arrested 27 people following a chaotic situation at the Copa America soccer final between Argentina and Colombia on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, the agency said Monday.

Ashame of what? That has nothing to do with being Colombian. The mess is the fault of the poor organization and lack of security. Not only some Colombians fans got in without tickets also, Argentinians and many people from other nationalities. The stadium can fit 65,000 People and the event was sold out. The people trying to get in without tickets were a minority. The mess in the videos, of people entering the stadium without scanning the tickets is because they openned the doors and told everybody to come in. It was crazy.

But going to a stadium for a european or latino soccer match, is probably putting this a whole another level. I have been to over 80 NFL games in my life. Never seen anything like this s*** show. I don't know why this matters as NFL is more popular in the US than Premiere League football. Salaries really don't mean anything. Baseball has really high salaries but is not popular anymore. Hockey is somewhat popular yet their average salary is very low - lower than MLS which is considered a low level football league in the world. Messi is an attempt to get eyeballs on MLS - not the sport of soccer in our country. Football needs no help in the US - if you combined national team tournaments and friendlies, Premiere League, La Liga, Bundesliga, EFL, Eredivise, Bundesliga, MLS, Liga MX, and so on - more people follow some form of soccer than follow any American sport. MLS needs the help, not soccer in the US. With respect to your opinion, I think soccer is growing faster than it ever has among all groups of people living in the US. It's a fact that Hispanics entering our country bring a love of "futbol" with them - but they don't own soccer. In the end we are all being duped into spending money on a bunch of overpaid children running around with a ball.

There might be a lot of different people from different countries in the US but it is in no way equivalent to actually understanding how different it is in the rest of the world. People come here and adapt the same habits and culture of the US eventually. US is a monolingual culture (also Spanish speaking cultures are an exception) at the end of the day, don't make the mistake of thinking what happens here is representative of the cultures back home.
