See below for timeline details.
This is most of the police bodycam footage that Chris Watts appears in (and some additional footage) the day Shannann, Bella and Celeste Watts were reported missing, August 13th, 2018. Footage is in chronological order from morning to afternoon. The footage from this day alone (before Watts eventually admitted he killed his family) you can see signs that something is off with the story Watts was telling the police. Some points of interest/suspicion I listed in the timeline of the video and below:
Beginning:
Nikole Atkinson, Shanann Watts' friend, calls police after she can't get in contact with her and thinks something isn't right. Police become aware of the matter, walking the perimeter of the house and wait for Chris to get home.
Chris arrives 17:42
Chris gets home from work. (we now know he was discarding Shanann, Bella and Celeste's dead bodies at the oil site just hours earlier).
Phone 22:54
Shanan's phone is found in the house.
Wedding Ring 34:40
Chris shows a police officer Shanann's wedding ring, claiming she left it there (we now know he took it off her corpse and was hoping to play it off as she left it herself).
Surveillance 45:00
Chris' neighbor shows a police officer surveillance footage from the early hours of the morning of Chris pulling his truck back into his garage. No sign of Shanann or the kids leaving the house was on the footage. (we now know this is when he was loading up the dead bodies of his family, before discarding them at the oil site).
Medication 1:22:43
Nikole Atkinson finds Shanann's medication is her bag, which like her phone, and the bag itself, is not something she would leave the house without.
Bedroom 1:49:40
A police officer finds it suspicious that a bed sheet is missing from their bed. (which we now know Chris wrapped her up in before burying her in a shallow grave.
Chris 2:04:23
More interaction with Chris and officers.

Goes to show how much Shanann depended on her phone and social media. Many people take forever to text back sometimes, myself included. Sometimes I’ll get a text like “Where are you?” and I won’t respond for hours.

@@Jukelikesgames a youtuber called Derek Van Scheik did a fantastic video on this body cam footage, showing everything shady Chris did. You may not realize them if you watch this, but if you watch his video it becomes clear Chris is lying and trying to tell pointless points to make the officer and others think he isn't nervous. Just watch him when he's watching the surveillance cam footage, he is literally watching himself unloading his wife's and daughters bodies to the truck and driving off. Scary, horrific stuff

@@munstifyhow does anyone know how Chris would act in a certain situation? As far as liars go, Nikole flat out lied when she says she didn't know the code. She says in her interview she knew it bc she took care of the dog while they were in NC. How did she know her car was in the garage? There's no windows. Chris had a hit on his phone that the garage door opened at 10ish. Obviously that was Nikole. That's how she knew the car was in there and the car seats were too. As for the placement of things, she could have moved them. Watch her and her son when they walk in the house. Neither yelled for her. Why is that? Her "favorite shoes" were by the door. So one would assume she's there. But they didn't assume. They already knew. They took a bee line to the kitchen. Y'all will tear this comment up. I'm not saying Chris is innocent. I'm saying Nikole knows more than she's telling. Rip it up, sheep!

Carolyn Talbot Yeah, he definitely had more cleanup to do, but like a dummy he still was trying to make them think she took off with an unknown friend (when he lamely presented her wedding ring, when he declared the blankies were gone, gah.) I really think he could have a drawn out a much longer investigation if he had made it look like a suicidal type of disappearance. If he had said she was totally distraught after their “emotional conversation”, had made some alarming threats, had been acting weird for days, he could have sent them on a wild goose chase through all that construction area out back and beyond. But thanks to the fact he’s a moron as well as a pos AND for this friend’s intervention, the correct conclusions were immediately drawn.

1:57 the cops finds their first eyewitness. The doggy gives them all the information it's got, what happened, and how the monster treated it. 2:15 the doggy begins to cry. It realizes, that nobody is listening to what it's got to say. Chris gives it water, and after it had a bit of water, 2:17 the doggy hears new voices, hope... and runs barking towards the newcomers, telling the horror it had seen, and experienced. Even shifting to a more authoritative voice, at one point, and tried to the very last to give it's statement to the police. But, nobody listened. Not only an eyewitness, but also a victim.

I bet Chris couldn’t stand her friend and was probably so freaked out that she was there. He was thinking once he came home from work he would have time alone to hide stuff or get rid of anything he missed, he was probably planning on doing something with her phone and purse and all the other clues that she didn’t really just leave with a friend. He didn’t have enough time to think of a solid plan with how to explain why her car and the car seats where still home and all of her medication and purse. It’s awesome that her friend showed up and called the cops and they were waiting for his ass when he arrived. He probably thought he was gonna come home to silence and get to hide shit before he called up his mistress to talk to her. I’m glad her friend was so smart and so dedicated to her that she just shows up there when she knew something wasn’t right. It definitely threw off all his plans and you can tell he’s a nervous wreck because they were all there when he got home. I don’t think he was ready yet to give an explanation he probably thought he would have way more time. Her friend is literally an angel showing up there, calling the cops, calling her mom, calling other friends, doing everything she could of. I hope she knows how good of a person she is. That’s a true friend right there. She had Shanan’s back and she was gonna be there ready to do whatever she needed to do to try and find her friend. Everyone seriously needs a friend as loyal as her. If I had a friend as good as her I wouldn’t need any other friends. One true friend is worth so much more. She really jumpstarted this investigation and got it moving so fast. Imagine how long this would of took without her coming over. Chris would of got home and tried covering his tracks more and made up more lies, we know he probably wouldn’t of called the cops. The cops probably would of never been at that house at all that day if it wasn’t for her friend. She was the main reason these cops jumped into gear so fast, without her they wouldn’t of known anything yet. God bless her friend for speaking up. She knew she had just dropped her off and watched her walk into the house earlier that morning, and then she’s the first one back at the house the second she couldn’t get ahold of her. She did such a good job getting this going
