Good afternoon 😊 There was a lot that" struck " me in this video, pun intended The young Spanish boy "shame". Young ladies don't walk "run" from this young man, it doesn't get better, believe me please. Like you said, John, hopefully he learned I truly hope he has, for his sake.🙏 The horse that dismissed "himself" right away, lol, that's ashame because ,in his mind, "he" won the battle, truly. The horse that replaced him",Vanquish"? Beautiful. The gaurd on her back is one of my favorite riders,I'm sure he's the one. There is another that's built the same. He always has control and good communication with the horses he rides. Oh that corner, I thought that was the corner there not letting people stand,is where a horse was refusing to go in the box and started backing into the tourist?? Have a blessed weekend, fellow subscribers 🖐😉

It most likely wasn’t the first time he acted out like that, and sadly it won’t be the last. He needs to learn that actions have consequences. Little boys who don’t get taught to not slap girls, who don’t have positive role modeling, get older and become abusive with women. It passes from one generation to the next. They often become domestically violent. Telling him not to do that wouldn’t give him any insight, he’d need counseling for that. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s copying the behavior of the adult role models at home.

When my eldest daughter done a exchange through her school she had a boy as her partner he was rude to both of my girls and myself. Fortunately for us she made friends with a lovely boy from the exchange before, he spoke to all of my 5 children and myself with respect one of the children mentioned to him about the other ones behaviour. The next thing I knew he was swearing in Spanish, when I went upstairs he was on his phone. l politely asked him not to swear in front of my younger children. It turns out the polite young man phoned him and told him to show some respect to myself and my girls. When my daughter went to Spain she said a lot of the teenage boys had no respect for females.

@@jslfcs6655 It's still a disgusting macho culture. You don't want to be a young girl walking alone in a street in Spain, you'll be harassed badly. One of my grandmothers was Spanish, born in 1909 and it's sad that it's not changed very much in the last 120 odd years. A cousin of a family member was burned alive by her husband days after he came out of prison for domestic violence. His 19 year old stepdaughter and own 2 year old daughter were badly burnt, but survived. The little one lost a hand and one eye. The eldest had burns to 45% of her body. That was around 15 years ago and it's still a common story in Spain.

For those who are impatient to view this video in its entirety to get to the moment the title described just go to 50:00. The incident is not actually witnessed but happens off camera and the culprit is eventually identified and seen a few minutes later. He’s a young punk and it’s obvious that this kind of casual violence is routine for him as well as for his entourage. It suggests that the problem is deeply embedded in his community and tolerated. Very sad. But the video is an excellent look at the horse guards as well as the experience of being amongst the throngs of visitors. No wonder the British Crown is such a boon for the economy! I did not have the patience to see this when I was in London so this was a good substitute. It’s an immersive experience. Thanks for the video. His friends, or any of the tons of people standing around, they all saw him, I just can’t believe that the society we live in today. I can’t abide that, I would not have been nearly as calm and polite as you. Thank you, Darlin, for speaking up. That little punk looking like he didn’t do anything wrong. What kind of adult is this putz going to be? I mean, seriously, it makes me wonder. If he’s this way at this age, he’s more likely going to get worse and worse. Hopefully he learns a lesson today. Bravo, John, well done.❤️😘🤟

I was in London a couple of days ago to see the Holbein exhibition at the Kings (formerly the Queens) Gallery at the Palace. I walked through Horse Guards and then St James' Park, and although I've seen your videos showing the huge numbers of people in the area, I was still amazed to see the hordes clustered around those poor Guards and horses. I wondered if the recent publicity surrounding the Royal family has brought London to the attention of more people around the world who have decided to visit. I worked in central London for many years and don't remember seeing such high numbers of visitors outside of special events.

I grew up in central London, but I haven't lived there for very many years, although I did have to commute up and down for work for a long time. But I think it's the same in all major cities now. It's the insta-culture. Thank goodness I don't have to have anything to do with it and I can fester in my rural locality!

Well done, John! At least the teacher dealt with it right then, as did you!! As a Survivor of spousal abuse, this is where it starts. And if you can nip it in the bud now, it never escalates to where someone else suffers or dies from it later. As a former paramedic, I went to so many calls, too many to count, of partner abuse, and because of what happens before that first hit, to a dime, every single woman didn't want to press charges. Now, however, the Police can lay the charge if there is a visible injury. Thank goodness for law changes!! When I was abused, that law didn't exist. All he got from the courts was 11 days in jail or a $250 CDN fine. Hmm... I wonder which one he chose? Because he was in the military, he would have been dishonourably discharged, so he paid the fine. No record of the assault exists. Done and dusted. Now, though, if it happened, it would be a totally different story for him, with the new laws in place. Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦

I love your comments. Although not about your abuse. But hearing about life particularly in relationship to that young Spanish idiot ( I have a much ruder name in mind) it is to be hoped he'll learn a lesson. Somehow I think he'll take a while to get the lesson into what he calls his brain. The arrogance of youth.

@kathellison8084 I'm glad you and your friend made it out. And I'm sorry she's in constant pain from it. But, like a judge once said to someone I helped off duty. If I were you, Sir, I'd be thankful to be alive to feel those broken ribs, then dead and 6 feet under!! Case dismissed!! He was a very overweight gentleman, and he was choking. I knew I couldn't help him while he was standing up, so I identified myself as per the law, and then I waited for him to go unconscious. When he did, I was able to dislodge the obstruction, but in doing so, I broke 3 ribs. And as a thank you, he sued me. We get to court, and his wife sat behind me!! She was so ticked off at him for being so ungrateful!! Then, leaving the courtroom, she turned to her husband and said, "Don't you feel like an idiot?? I told you it wouldn't go anywhere!!!" LOL 🤣

@@jenniferlehman326 Well said that judge 😊, and the wife 😀 . I worked in the NHS so the people with dementia /Alzheimer's twice on the ward I did CPR on patients , then after I retired I was coming home from shopping got off my bus and saw an elderly gentleman lying at the edge of the road , a lady was already calling an ambulance .My house was at the corner I dumped the shopping and got a blanket , I noticed his breathing was very shallow and told the lady on the phone to get the ambulance to hurry it was urgent , he stopped breathing , no pulse I managed to get on the ground and started chest compressions , someone behind me said " won't you break his ribs ? " I told them " better broken ribs than dying in the gutter " and carried on until the ambulance arrived and took over , after one of them had to help me up my knees had seized up ! 😑. He survived I think a couple of weeks then passed peacefully in his bed . I strongly believe everyone should be taught CPR in school . As for the " little boy " who slapped the girl , lessons in respect for others were obviously missing in his life !

That boy learned nothing that day unfortunately. I may not speak Spanish, but I do speak body language. His was saying it was no big deal. He didn’t hit her that hard. He doesn’t know why everyone was making such a fuss. So in other words “I did nothing wrong and it was the people making a fuss who were trouble makers”. So now he feels angry and justified. As a youngster I was abused at school and it is very difficult to get an entitled individual to have a change of heart. It’s sad. Also it’s probably not the first time he has hurt her.

@@karmar22able You cannot say that, because you cannot possibly know his father nor what he did exactly by the way, because you, like me, and everybody else did not see what he supposedly did, since it was not caught on camera. Still people draw hasty conclusions about the boy's father and country. Facts: England+Wales:Total female homicides for one year 2022/23= 174. Total population 60.1 million. Spain: Total female homicides for one year 2023= 56. Total population= 48.59 million. Result: Female homicide rate in UK+Wales per 100,000 inhabitants = 0.2895. Female homicide rate in Spain per 100,000 inhabitants = 0.115 Conclusion: Female homicide rate in England+Wales is more than double that of Spain. What conclusions should we draw from this about British boys' behaviour learnt from their fathers? You tell me.
