As I stated in the video, the lad involved did not want to make a complaint for fear of retaliation. So those who are expecting me to update will be disappointed. Nevertheless, these pair of uniformed bullies should not be allowed to take their frustrations out on the public in this manner. I would invite anyone who watches this video to make a complaint about the appalling 'people skills' of West Midland police officers. As long as your complaint is titled as 'a direction and control' complaint then the police are obliged to accept it. Technically, none of us are allowed to make a complaint about the individual officers because we were not a party to their behaviour. But if enough of us make a 'direction and control' complaint about the appalling standards of behaviour, as depicted in this video, it will hopefully trickle down to the officers concerned. Email your complaints to West Midlands Police, Professional Standards Department. Let's stop them getting away with it!! psd@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk Alternatively, West Midlands Police have a feedback form on their website here: www.west-midlands.police.uk/services/give-compliment West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner David Jamieson is on Twitter: twitter.com/WestMidsPCC West Midlands Chief Constable Dave Thompson Twitter: twitter.com/DaveThompsonCC

The police have been doing this for as long as I can remember. 30yrs ago I was accused of having a stolen breathalyser in my car, stopping people and breathalysing them! I was stopped in my car every week by the same copper, searching me and my car. He even said "is that all you've got?" when I pulled 35p out of my pocket! This continued harassment only stopped after 6 months, when I sold my car. Unfortunately I didn't have a phone back then, I wasn't able to record any of it. But I wouldn't have any dealings with the police now, they're a terrible organisation.

A friend of my family had a brother who was at that time was an inspector in the drug squad, he was off duty in his brothers car getting a lift. When he was stopped by a marked car for a routine check. When the two officers started to question him on who he was and why two scruffy looking individuals like them, were in such a car that was by their opinion too expensive for him to own. They asked for identification and he had none so they then turned to his brother as the passenger and asked “ I suppose you don’t have any identification either?” To which he replied “Oh I do indeed!” And produced his I’d card He then told them both that he wanted to see them both on Monday morning in his office to educate them both on how to treat members of the public. This all happened many years ago now back in the 70’s Coppers like this in today’s world are virtually none existent which is disappointing to say the least. But boy would I liked to have been a fly on the wall on that Monday.

What a load of crap. Two police officers out on patrol encounter some young thug with an attitude problem, so naturally they start asking him some questions. He then starts being standoffish towards them and generally acting suspiciously. Does the idiot teenager in the video have any idea of how the real world works? Probably not. He's most likely learned from the left-wing popular culture that the police are evil oppressors who go around brutalising random members of the public for no reason, and that he's now a victim of "police brutality", or something...While there are bad eggs in every profession (incl. the police), for the most part police officers are brave men and women who are willing to put their lives at risk to maintain the thin blue line between civil order and criminality. In case people haven't noticed, the UK now suffers from massive levels of crime (including a stabbing epidemic). While the teen in the video probably things that being obnoxious towards the poice gives him a bit of street cred, in reality all he's doing is wasting police time. Idiot.

Plus, frankly, I don't like talking to socially maladjusted freaks at their own convenience - so if they want my name and address they owe me a reach around at least, a bit of slap and tickle... maybe a French kiss. @@abominablecnutswain8206 I am with Nick on this once since Robert has been unable to say anything of value except the ridiculous ramblings of a crazy man. Robert, if a man has decided out of the blue, to stab people near your home, out of the blue. Would your answer to that as a cop be: "We should not go around and ask questions or interact with the public to try and ensure their safety while warding off criminals. We should instead stay in our office while trying to google our way to who this criminal might have been." I do not understand how people think when they see cops who are doing their jobs as a proof of their lack of competence. They are humans and they cannot be everywhere at every hour of the day. If you are to complain about the cops, about their uselessness, go become a police officer and do it yourself instead of crying about how pathethic they are online. As Nick stated, the cops were simply doing their job and they have the right to ask you questions if you are suspicious, this is what they do to prevent events such as stabbings.
