A highly-trained police officer, killed in a shootout with criminals last week, has now been laid to rest. Warrant Officer Sthembiso Mazibuko, of the National Intervention Unit, was part of a team, tracing murder and robbery suspects in Ntuzuma. Four of the suspects were killed in that police operation. eNCA’s senior reporter Dasen Thathiah was at Mazibuko's funeral. Courtesy #DStv403

Cele's ineffectual leadership of the police is responsible for the lawlessness and corruption that abounds in SA. There are also too many police that are not effective and trusted by the people due to the frequent acts of corruption by certain members of the police community. A radical shift in attitude is needed starting with Cele being replaced with an effective and respected officer that is capable of true leadership.
