You should definitely make a formal complaint against these officials so that people like us don’t have to suffer. You have good footages to prove that the police officials were at fault. You should report this incident to Gujrat vigilance commission. Directly call them or file a written complaint on their portal. So that strict action can be taken against those policemen and such type of harrassment can be stopped.

I also passed this border on the evening of 30th August. Policemen were polite in checking the car. Seems you encountered a bad guy. Additionally, good that you took Ahmedabad Vadodara highway. I took Modasa highway. Lag gayee thi apni.. with tyre cut in a big pothole !!! So, it was blessing in disguise to pick the Ahmedabad road. Strict action should be taken with such policemen creating issues !!!

Inko dawood ibrahim jaise criminals ko pakadne ki himmat inki gaand mein nahi hai. Kisi ne bhi nahi darna chahiye inse. Legally aur bina dare jab baat karte hai na inse tab to inki 2 minute mein gaand fat ke aajaati hai haath mein. Bahut baar deal kar chuka hu inn chuho se mein aaj tak.

@@Ashish_Champ Well, I've recently faced a situation regarding that, He was way too abusive even though I talked to him in a respectful manner, but as my father arrived his tone changed and he was like beta..beta..are beta...vrna usse pehle sun nahi Raha tha meri 1% bhi, maybe because I was in a school dress and I'm just of 17 years of age., But yeah mere experience ke hisaab se maine unse bahut respect se baat ki thi, sab sach bola tha phir bhi, vaise uske baare mein maine kaafi kisse sune hain ki vo Banda hi kharab hai, rudhivaadi soch hai uski, vo kehte hain na, apne upar ki jo generation hai vo bahut bevkoof hai, vaise hi vo bhi tha buddha sa. But overall of my experience I lost my faith and respect towards police department, but yeah senior rank officers are well behaved, when I told bout the case to ab ADG, he said sab nahi hote, jo ghoos deke aate hain, vardi ka ghamand jinhe hota hai, vo ill-mannered hi behave karte hain. POLICE REFORMS ARE MUST.

Exactly Same thing happened with me on Ahmedabad ring road at night 2 am. I was recording the video, they tried to snatched my phone too. They just want money from us. And also called pcr van for taking me to the nearest police station. After 1hr of such harassment they left us .

You should file a police complaint and submit the evidences as captured ( shown on vlog too ). You're educated enough to reach to Law enforcement department. These Police ground staff will be penalized basis your complaint and submission of evidences.

Incidents such as this definitely put a dent on entire state. A state which has a lot in tourism badly needs to remove such unruly and adamant police personnel from the system. Not just you but many travelers faced this issue, so am sure this is not a one time thing and is regularly faced by all.

You should continue exploring himachal. People might not be super rich or super ambitious or super arrogant about their region culture, but will have heart in place and basic etiquette..I am from himachal and can assure that this tone and attitude you will never experience in himachal..and last but not the least..the most beautiful serene and travel worthy destination in india is himachal..peace...
