This is what most policing is. most officers are just trying to help their communities as that’s why they go into law enforcement. The media pushes the negativity about the police but never focuses on the many many positive things the officers do, An example would be in my Hometown. An officer was killed while saving a guy who had collapsed while crossing the Rails, the guy survived but the officer was killed and it didn’t even get Regional Coverage. Actually, most cops are like this, media only shows the bad ones though. The anti-cop agenda that the blm movement is pushing wouldn’t share videos like this of cops being good people. Now that I think about it I haven’t seen anyone showing clips like this on social media. But once they have a bad cop on tape, everyone is quick to repost that. It is quite unfortunate that the media only likes to show everyone one side of the story.

Cops are trained to not trust anyone. You’re not supposed to be “buddy buddy” with a strangers because they could easily be fooling them to hurt/kill them. Apparently I found that it’s normal for young kids (as in even toddlers) to literally HIDE from police when they come near them/their area even if they aren’t doing any thing wrong. What’s weirder is I’ve heard people from loads of different backgrounds say this...for some reason people even from young ages are scared of the same people who should be protecting them and all this in America...

A.C.A.B. isn't saying everyone who is a cop is a bad person at heart. What A.C.A.B. is saying is that the police and justice systems are systemically bad, so we need to change them and reallocate funds from those systems into community programs such as mental health programs, community safety programs and other programs like that so that BIPOC, hispanic, asian, and other oppressed minorities have more readily available, and affordable resources in their neighborhoods and communities before having to have to turn to a system that hasn't treated them the way that they deserve to be treated.
