I'm curious, is the portions to block out just like an initial best-guess, or are they always re-edits following notification from KZfaq? I just ask because it seems like it would be almost impossible to figure out what their idiotic system would have an issue with before uploading it the first time. Just have to say, what we do know about the power of the President in this situation, is that he could call in the National Guard with explicit orders to defend the protesters against police, and counter-protesters. It's been done before. Biden wouldn't do it, because he's incapable of doing the right thing, but he could.

@@jamescharles5907 On 11th February if I recall correctly, six year old Hind Rajab's body was recovered. She surrounded by her deceased family members in their car. Mind you, this was 2 weeks after her phone call to the Red cross begging for someone to save her. Her 15 year old older cousin, had initially called the red cross, screaming about how there was a tank shooting at their car. She died on the call, and Hind picked up the phone crying for help. They also recovered the bodies of the Red Cross paramedics who had tried to save Hind. The screams from Hind was.... It's heart wrenching. This is why Hamilton Hall was renamed to Hind Hall by the pro-Palestinian student protestors, in memory of Hind.

Columbia locked us out and we can't fucking eat and are expected to still figure out our summer plans, finish our classes, etc. with no library access (some of us like me rely heavily on libraries' technological resources to get work done). On top of everything, they are favoring the uber-rich by urging us to clear out off dorms immediately. I have no money for a ticket home and my one job offer for the summer has ghosted me since everything's started. ⁠1. Columbia didn’t force students to attend their institute . Also students who don’t like university’s policies or investments can un-enroll any time. 2. Students are there for a limited term they have no rights to meddle with investments or affiliations of the university. For example one can’t demand to a Hotel management to cut ties with certain manufacturers of furniture or appliances because I rented a room for 1 month. Hope you all get some commonsense before spewing BS.

GILEE began back in '92, i think. Definitely in the lead up to the '96 summer games (obviously that training didn't work. Of course, it wasn't really meant for actual terrorism. My mom said the protests reminded her of Jan 6 (specifically the students entering the building and breaking a window) and when I pushed back she said "it's the truth". The problem is that you americans don t know how to protest, choosing such a specific clear claims and targeting specific institutions is not good. You need to start very specific but then broad the protest to get support for other elements of civil society, just like chileans students did starting with protest against the raising of subway fees and then everything evolved in a popular rising against the neoliberal policies of the goverment.
