I have always had good luck with Police Security lights. I used to work on Boeing 707s (RC135s) in the USAF. I've dropped them from up on the vertical stab onto the ground, hard enough to crack the lense. Also, they've withstood the 130°+ temps, and a lot of sweat lol. Still works too. I thought I'd upgrade, so I got this one today to EDC.

Thank you for your video. I just bought one. I couldn’t find a decent one with a case. I found it odd that this didn’t come with an instruction manual. At least mine didn’t. I’m curious about that and why there are 3 different places to access the batteries. I thought one might be to zoom in and out. I guess I was wrong? All 3 places that it twists, only opens the battery area. Am I wrong? Again, thank you for your helpful video.

As far as I know PS doesn't offer cases for any of their flashlights. No zoom feature available on the Trac-Tact either so you're correct. It's a pretty simple light, mine lives in my truck now. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 👍👍👍

I had a similar question! I have a feeling there's so many access points just to act as a redundancy maybe? I know I had an older flashlight where the battery cap was just stuck closed. I needed a wrench to open it because a battery had leaked and sort of jammed the threads up. So with this one, if that happens, you can still open it and get the batteries out and clean as needed. I did think it was weird though.

Just picked this up today at Canadian Tire for $13.00. Sweet light. I'll be grateful for it when I really need it. You're right, they are a bit large for edc, but solid. I have a smaller version of this and even it's a great light. Wish I could find it. Well enough for around a pitch black campsite, so this 280 lumen/5 mode version was a good sale for me! Thanks for sharing the review.

brianj123458 Thanks Brian!! Yeah this thing is pretty bright and with the larger face you get a good, wide beam. It's definitely worth $30. Great for bug out or to keep in your vehicle like SSGT suggested. 👍👍👍

yowee that's a lot of money for a flashlight but just curious have you tested how long the AA battereries will last on the brightest setting before it dies? Also, can you tell me what is so special for that price other than the quality? I'm always looking for extremely bright flashlights that will light up the backside of a barn.

Texas Urban Hunter & Survivalist I haven't tested battery life but features of the light are 300 lumens, blood tracking, high, low and S.O.S. modes. Thanks for watching!!
