someone at the dmv screwed up registering it as a motorcycle :) so thats means as long as it meets dot standards your good to go. I think cops here in nova scotia would fight that tooth and nail.

That's awesome guys,I road my off road bike at Hatfield and McCoy and it was strange being aloud to run down streets in town to grab a bite to eat and the cops just wave and smile

The crazy thing is that I seen you in Toronto that day. You passed me on Queen and University. I was driving the pink camouflaged van. (My work vehicle) Lol. I thought my eyes were aying tricks on me. Great video from one enthoseith to another. Thanks and keep them coming.

@@danlux4954 ... when the cop pulled Mark over. The cop stated that even he didn't know how mark was able to label his maverick as a motorcycle. So I would think your question should be directed towards Mark

My x3is insured and registered as a motorcycle as well in the states. Thats just what they classify a utv. Its not an atv. Lol

In NY I saw a guy who plated a can am by hanging the sheet metal from an old vw bug on the outside and then registered it as a VW. In NY if the car is past a certain year no title is needed.

Don't think the straight pipe and launch control was very helpful in getting people to accept sxs on the streets. I mean I do plan on adding a cutout and launch control on mine, but there is a time and place. And letting the entire city of Toronto know how loud they can be really does not help in the argument with trying to get them street legal.

Illegal to be on the roadway unless displaying a SMV Triangle and in use for agriculture in most of the US. Illegal to be on limited access highways period.

um no you can't use a Triangle on it... and as per MTO Ontario Regulation 316/03, Schedule B but they leave the municipality to hold the bag

That's not true. I have a 2019 900 EPS TRAIL 50" TITLED IN MICHIGAN as "Assembled Pickup" State Licensed and Insured for Michigan Highways EXCEPT INTERSTATES HIGHWAY. Its been legal since 2020. Michigan Secretary of State Law "TR54" as far as I know its legal in all states. I drove it throughout Bayfield, Wisconsin including most of Bayfield County without being stopped. I have cops do 180°turn arounds follow me then turn away. I suspect they run my license plates and discover I'm legal... Its not cheap to do and its very time consuming (you deal directly with police and SOS agents) took me 18+ months. Many DOT updates. Two inspections, tons of receipts for proof of parts used, record keeping a must.

Greetz from germany, far away. I own and handle a 2021 MAVERICK X3 XRS MAX TURBO RR SMART SHOX with street legal registration and license plate on it onroad, as well on public travel. Since three months I've gotten only one time pulled over by a cop. He was very interested WHAT THING it be/was?! My registration named as Agri Culture and Lumber Truck ( to towing wood out of the forest ). It's sound crazy but still true! For the colder and wet country here in the northern territory , I upgrade this fxxxx machine with oem windshield next to the wiper/washer-system, rear window and lower half doors, a roof and spare tire with carrier. The residents stood still and look like an alien with his mars-rover passed by... Funny moments next to the Maverick itself, power sound acceleration and lot of fuel consumption guaranteed.

The US is the same with the exception of some of the states. You just have to have blinker, horn and mirrors. Then insurance and registration

Just got my machine legal threw dirt legal first trip on the road we drove all over the city threw town all over cops just drove by I thought for sure they pull me over I keep turning on camera every time I seen one I’m sure they will eventually pull me over at every red light people was asking me question on how I got a tag cause in Ga they want register a off road vehicle I told them I used dirt legal

Hey Brother that’s Awesome but there’s something your not telling us. Here in Nova Scotia you can’t even register a Polaris sling shot but you can register a can am they claim because of the seating position but I called bullshit on that what if you have a sidecar on a motorcycle. This province is a mess thanks premier RANKIN.
