Why should town and city drivers have to put up with speed humps. Place a few at Rufford. As to the people who think stopping these nob heads tearing around will spoil people's fun it's only a matter of time before someone, possibly a child gets killed or seriously injured. Yes as to plod they have lost the respect of many of the British public until you need them to help you of course.

The 30mph signs are there, they are at the entrance to the village at either end. (Google maps streetview).

Motor Oil, ball joint grease, transmission fluid, break dust. All these things commonly leak from vehicles. Whats the impact on that water system? Not to mention the plastic breaking off these vehicles and making it into the waterways.

It’s probably a combination of the amount of complaints they get from the locals about the speeding/bellends revving their cars, the fact someone on a motorbike suffered serious injuries there a few weeks back and that it’s all on KZfaq for reference.

I don't know your traffic rules. but I don't see a problem in driving through the stream quickly. we have no such problems in Russia. but those who can kill a duck with their short-sightedness must be punished.
